Today’s podcast asks who benefits from the controversy surrounding the human caravan making its way through Central America to the U.S. border: Is this good for anyone besides Donald Trump? The news is going his way these days, as are the polls—is this all indicative of real change in the GOP direction, or just a false dawn before a midterm wipeout? Give a listen.

Just go away, Noah, please.  This podcast would be so much better with just John, Abe, and Sohrab.  You know, the adults (for the most part) in the room.

So you’re saying almost every rank punditry podcast and magazine on the right being negative on a Trump win for the ensuing 12 months and going on networks like, say, MSNBC and CNN to describe what a calamity it is might have depressed Republican voters?

Perhaps instead of balls and strikes, we live by the note “for every negative, we give two positives, lest media with no interest in our survival use us as a cudgel?”

I think they make a good quartet.  This is one of my favorite Ricochet podcasts.

Uh, no.  “Beta” O’Rourke was born in September 1972, Cruz was born in December 1970.
