Today’s podcast points out that Donald Trump’s bizarre announcement that he’s selling NFT images of himself was completely overshadowed later in the day by Elon Musk banning some journalists on Twitter. Does this mean Trump is now, literally, yesterday morning’s news and will remain so? Give a listen.

wow, talk about missing the point on Elon.   He is the great regular guy hope of the republican party. Because of him, republicans, working class included, have an equal voice in the public space.  That is huge. Remember when social media started to take off in reach, republicans were using it successfully to have their say and be heard. That is why the social platforms shut them down. They were too effective.  Now that level playing field is back.    Good candidates once again have the chance to get national recognition. People can organize protest rallies. Conservative social influencers can achieve reach. All due to Elon.

As far as Twitter generating income, what is the reach of the platform worth to political candidates and parties?  To special interest groups?  Analyze tweets and replies to predict marketing trends, who will win an election. What about gauging whether the stock market will go up or down?

Elon is having a tough time lately money wise. But Tesla and SpaceX are investing heavily in their core businesses.  And no sign of Twitter imploding yet, despite the daily theatrics. If anything, Twitter is expanding its reach.  ( keep in mind, Twitter is a worldwide company. )

Schroeder, not Linus, was the Beethoven fan.

How could no one speak up about that?

Also an NFT is not a scam or a crypto currency thing.

Think of it as a digital collectable, like an autographed photograph. Its not an investment. Any more than Franklin Mint’s Collector Plates would be an investment.

Why discount the idea that Trump is Trolling? Living dangerously in the imaginations of his critics.

Ok, I tried. I almost made 20 minutes.
