Many on the left are convinced that the right is pro-Putin. They see Donald Trump as pro-Putin and Donald Trump is the dominant force on the right. Many on the left so hate Donald Trump that they instinctively do what they see as the opposite of him. So many on the left may have accidentally done the right thing in supporting Ukraine.
