Today’s podcast asks why the media are so curiously silent about the explosive allegations in the “finding” issued by special prosecutor John Durham in his investigation into efforts to interfere with the good working order of the Trump 2016 campaign. And why is Joe Biden saying it’s “probably too soon” to take off the mask? Give a listen.

I agree that it’s social insanity to insist that everyone, regardless of risk, live always under the same restrictions amenable to the paranoid and vulnerable (but I haven’t forgotten the many times that JPod told me that I could “just go die” because I was in no hurry to get vaccinated). In early 2020, when even my nice generally sane state and town were under severe restrictions, the grocery stores set aside the first hour of the day for the elderly to shop so that they could be less exposed to the general public. If that sensitive socially distanced, vax-checking cafe wanted to, they could have “Covid Tuesday,” with all the restrictions in force for those who want them and still open up the rest of the time to those who are covid-paranoia-negative. Instead of “happy hour” with half prices, bars could have “paranoia hour” with full masking.
