Everyone on this podcast apart from Abe drives me nuts at least once a week, but for some reason I just can’t stop listening. Not sure if this is more to their credit or mine. At least no one can say I only listen to people I agree with.
I love this show, but perhaps because of the high level of discourse, I find that little errors like John saying that schools were “literally playing ping-pong with these kids” annoys me more than it would otherwise.

Select the with and without Covid for their estimate. The absolute numbers are on decline and don’t support 3,000 current fatalities from Covid.
I have the same experience! I listen regularly, but I routinely want to smack one of them for being either wrong or smugly condescending, yet I keep coming back. I think perhaps it’s the combination of them and their general geniality with each other while disagreeing substantially enough that I never want to smack more than one of them at any given time (and never Christine or Abe).
So by “them” you mean Pod, right?
