So, Neocons, how much of other people’s money are you willing to spend on Ukraine and is Noah willing to go over and fight on the front lines for Ukrainian sovereignty? Is Christine willing to have her children go fight? Put your money where your mouths are and say what is necessary to win and where all this nonsense and yellow journalism ends, if it ever does.
The answer is negative to all your questions. Another point….the rest of the world could give 2 you know what about Ukraine….it’s just a bunch of white people killing each other…..let them do it….I mean we have set as established fact that all the worlds ills from climate change to racism is the fault of western civilization why would the non western world care about Russia and Ukraine? They don’t….our educated elites have created this mess now they want everyone else to bail them out….
One more point….where is the pearl clutching by Commentary on all the sovereignty threatened and run over by several nations against other nations in Africa? Again….why should Africa care about Ukraine…
And of course they just go after the Right….I swear this podcast has been a broken record since the mid-term elections….I could get everything they have argued from NPR or the NYT….have some originality….we get it….you don’t like Trump….actually it’s not Trump….it’s all the people who support Trump and those who may not support Trump but who think he has a point vis-à-vis you the traditional right thinking class……the horse is dead….please move onto something original…..
We are not spending the money on Ukraine. We are spending it on our own national security. And my son is over there.
Is he in Ukraine?
Well, I think specifically the bill alots billions to Ukraine, so actually, yes we are spending the money on Ukraine. How important that is to our national secuirty, is up for debate. I take a dim view as to its importance, but don’t really care enough either way to get worked up about it. That it happened in this CR, and was used as a reason to vote for a whole lot of other very bad stuff…
I may need to clarify a bit….
This post is not meant to condone Putin’s invasion of Ukraine nor even the policy of trying to stop that invasion….it makes geo-political sense. This is post critiquing the talking class who pontificate about the situation and tries to stifle anyone who may have concerns with the policy…..it also is a critique of the same talking heads who get all gung ho over Ukraine but are crickets when this same scenario is playing out in several other areas and always has. Finally it is a critique of this group who has either fostered or allowed the racial Marxist idea that race is everything and that western civilization has not only oppressed the rest of the world but the only civilization to have ever done so…..so when one western civilization nation invades another western civilization nation don’t expect the world to really care….it’s just two imperialists killing each other…..
Finally….the horse is dead….we get it….the right is terrible now and needs to be saved by the likes of Commentary and The Dispatch….I subscribe to both and don’t disagree about critiquing the right but for a while now that’s all it is…..it’s getting tiresome and bland….they can all do better….
I think Ukraine needs Pride centers and wax museums.

Yeah, just like in WWII. You really think Putin gets Ukraine and stops there? You want to live in a world where Russia owns Europe and China owns the rest of the world?
well, which government would sentence its own people to years of jail for participating in a 1 day protest at the capitol building? And which government leaders, the ones in Moscow or Wash DC would care and identify more with the white working class in the US? First question, the answer is the Feds. The 2nd question, I think the answer is Moscow.
