John’s analysis of good things-bad things Biden, may well be correct. But I tend to go with Occam’s Razor — the simplest explanation is that Biden is just dumb. Really dumb. I have always thought that. Just a dumb, arrogant, loudmouth fabulist. I don’t like him.
As for Primary Colors and Connecticut Yankee, that is the difference between John and me. We’re close in age, and I may have read as many books as he has, but he remembers characters and plot details of books from 30-40 years ago, and I just remember that I read it, or maybe just the basic plot. And he can do the same thing with films and TV shows.
I read Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court years and years ago, and remember it being one of the first books that made me laugh out loud as I read. Who knows how it would hit me now, but I thoroughly enjoyed it then. And I was also thinking about the eclipse scene yesterday when everyone was outside watching.
Also, I do believe I read the Twilight books, but I would have a hard time remembering the names of all the books, and for sure I have memory-dumped nearly all of their plots. I couldn’t honestly tell you what happens in hardly any of them. I think that is a good thing, but it’s kind of telling that books of that size can be so easily forgettable.
