Conspiracy Theory No More? Classified Report Says Coronavirus May Have Originated in Chinese Lab

Well, well, well, a Mainstream Media outlet (KOMO in Seattle/Sinclair Broadcasting) may just have engaged in some actual Journalism for a change. This morning, at the top of their Web site, there is a story titled Classified Study finds that Covid-19 could have originated in Chinese Lab.

Now, this is a very intriguing story, as the Powers That Be in DC and around the world (including the WHO) have been telling us for a year that it was just a crazy conspiracy theory that the Coronavirus might have originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. There have been dozens of news reports in various places that have posited this theory, and either been removed by Big Social Media, or simply ignored. Over on Ricochet, more than one scientifically-inclined member has posted on this issue, citing trustworthy references. Here are some stories about the possible origin of the deadly virus that originated somewhere in Communist China.

Chinese virologist claims virus escaped from lab

Growing body of evidence indicates virus escaped from Chinese lab

US, Canada funded lab in China eyed as likely source

Most of the other mainstream media will suppress this story, or deny its legitimacy completely.  Don’t let them do it. Disseminate this story far and wide. Finally, the real story will come out, and we can direct our efforts at the real enemy, Communist China.

Those “could have’s” and “might have’s” sound pretty vague.

There’s incontrovertible evidence that Chinese researchers now at Wuhan had the technical chops to create Covid and had created similar viruses.

Someone wanted to write a post on rescinding the conspiracy nut case portion of the CoC (was that you, Jerry? @arizonapatriot)

If the definition of crazy conspiracy theory is what mainstream media doesn’t report on, then we might as well just give up on truth.

It has been pretty obvious for a long time that COVID originated in the Wuhan lab.  Nothing else is even plausible.  No one wants to face the foreign policy and financial implications of this.  Fauci has been so aggressive because he feels guilt in funding the Wuhan lab.

Fauci has been so aggressive because he’s 80 years old and a doofus.  He should have been put out to pasture years ago.

We’ve all, at least all of us who have followed the origins from the beginning, have known it originated in a lab in China almost from day one. To give them the benefit of the doubt, I don’t think it was done on purpose but was a huge, huge error on someone’s part in the lab. The inexcusable aspect of it was the Chinese government keeping from the world knowledge of the severity of the virus itself. The World Health Organization also seemed to be concealing China’s responsibility.

We would be naive to think countries in the west don’t have similar labs working on viruses, some with the best of intentions to better understand them and how to deal with them once they are unleashed. I remember reading  the Spanish Flu that spread through the world in 1918 -1919 wasn’t understood for many years after it had almost disappeared due to deaths and herd immunity. Today’s scientists seem to be working a lot faster.  The fact that the drug companies were able to get a vaccine out as quickly as they did most certainly indicates they had been working on deadly viruses for years.

I believe there was professional objection and warning regarding the training and competency of staff and corresponding safety and containment of potentially epidemic pathogens in Chinese facilities at about the time that 0bama prohibited funding GoF research.  And this doesn’t take into account deliberate spying and theft and transfer of samples such as in the US and Canada.

And I think I read in Jan or Feb of 2020 that the genome was known and analyzed.  And even at that time, the coding showed human fabrication of the SARS spike proteins.

My theory for a while has been that SARS Cov 2 was a part of a flu vaccine rollout…

Given flu vaccinations start in September/October and Covid began around October/November, gaining steam around December and January, the timeline fit for it. I’m less enamored by operation biowarfare than I am by the idea of genetic scientists playing God.

If it was meant to be a flu vaccine, it did its job. There haven’t been any cases of flu reported in a year. However, something went very wrong with the vaccine. Covid-19 pathology reads like an over-active immune response that was reported in testing coronavirus vaccines for years before Covid.

Now that it’s not a conspiracy to say this was lab based, I’m going to push the envelope further and posit that Covid was actually a vaccine itself.

I’m not married to this theory. It’s just a theory in the truest sense of the word. Just more information coming out keeps aligning with the idea.

How does this work?  Covid isn’t the flu.  Are you saying that a coronavirus was given to people because the coronavirus activated the immune system against the flu which is a different kind of virus?

I have no idea. But if you go looking for what the flu virus looks like, it has similar spikes as what we call corona viruses. And corona viruses are labeled such because of the spiky surface they have.

Like I said, it’s a theory. I lack the tools and knowledge to fully investigate this theory. So it’s one held in tentative limbo based on what information I can access, assuming the information given was truthful (which I readily admit is a huge assumption).

For those of you who want more information, there is a very long, detailed analysis of both sides of the side coin- whether the virus came from Nature or the Wuhan Institute of Virology at Zerohedge under Bulletin of Atomic Scientists Opens The Wuhan Virus Pandora’s box.

    Some of the discussion:

The Natural Origin theory was pushed quite effectively by two letters:

The Lancet letter of February 19,2020  by a group of virologists which said “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin,”-

“Contrary to the letter writers’ assertion, the idea that the virus might have escaped from a lab invoked accident, not conspiracy. It surely needed to be explored, not rejected out of hand. A defining mark of good scientists is that they go to great pains to distinguish between what they know and what they don’t know. By this criterion, the signatories of the Lancet letter were behaving as poor scientists: They were assuring the public of facts they could not know for sure were true.”

“It later turned out that the Lancet letter had been organized and drafted by Peter Daszak, president of the EcoHealth Alliance of New York. Daszak’s organization funded coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

The Nature Medicine Letter of March 2020– “It’s authors were a group of virologists led by Kristian G. Andersen of the Scripps Research Institute. “Our analyses clearly show that SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus,” the five virologists declared in the second paragraph of their letter.”

this was another case of poor science,…True, some older methods of cutting and pasting viral genomes retain tell-tale signs of manipulation….. But newer methods, called “no-see-um” or “seamless” approaches, leave no defining marks

“If a virus has been manipulated, whether with a seamless method or by serial passage, there is no way of knowing that this is the case. Andersen and his colleagues were assuring their readers of something they could not know.”

“Doubts about natural emergence. Natural emergence was the media’s preferred theory until around February 2021 and the visit by a World Health Organization (WHO) commission to China………..”What became clear was that the Chinese had no evidence to offer the commission in support of the natural emergence theory.”

“This was surprising because both the SARS1 and MERS viruses had left copious traces in the environment. The intermediary host species of SARS1 was identified within four months of the epidemic’s outbreak, and the host of MERS within nine months. Yet some 15 months after the SARS2 pandemic began, and after a presumably intensive search, Chinese researchers had failed to find either the original bat population, or the intermediate species to which SARS2 might have jumped, or any serological evidence that any Chinese population,”…..

    Continued comment:

“Virologists started studying bat coronaviruses in earnest after these turned out to be the source of both the SARS1 and MERS epidemics. In particular, researchers wanted to understand what changes needed to occur in a bat virus’s spike proteins before it could infect people.

Researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, led by China’s leading expert on bat viruses, Shi Zheng-li or “Bat Lady,” mounted frequent expeditions to the bat-infested caves of Yunnan in southern China and collected around a hundred different bat coronaviruses.

Shi then teamed up with Ralph S. Baric, an eminent coronavirus researcher at the University of North Carolina. Their work focused on enhancing the ability of bat viruses to attack humans so as to “examine the emergence potential (that is, the potential to infect humans) of circulating bat CoVs [coronaviruses].” In pursuit of this aim, in November 2015 they created a novel virus by taking the backbone of the SARS1 virus and replacing its spike protein with one from a bat virus (known as SHC014-CoV). This manufactured virus was able to infect the cells of the human airway, at least when tested against a lab culture of such cells.”

“The SHC014-CoV/SARS1 virus is known as a chimera because its genome contains genetic material from two strains of virus. If the SARS2 virus were to have been cooked up in Shi’s lab, then its direct prototype would have been the SHC014-CoV/SARS1 chimera, the potential danger of which concerned many observers and prompted intense discussion.

“If the virus escaped, nobody could predict the trajectory,” said Simon Wain-Hobson, a virologist at the Pasteur Institute in Paris.”

“Inside the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Baric had developed, and taught Shi, a general method for engineering bat coronaviruses to attack other species. The specific targets were human cells grown in cultures and humanized mice.”

Shi’s work was funded by NIAID and this guy named Dr. Fauci. The grant proposals said:

“We will use S protein sequence data, infectious clone technology, in vitro and in vivo infection experiments and analysis of receptor binding to test the hypothesis that % divergence thresholds in S protein sequences predict spillover potential.”

“What this means, in non-technical language, is that Shi set out to create novel coronaviruses with the highest possible infectivity for human cells.”

“On December 9, 2019, before the outbreak of the pandemic became generally known, Daszak gave an interview in which he talked in glowing terms of how researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology had been reprogramming the spike protein and generating chimeric coronaviruses capable of infecting humanized mice.”

Three months later Eco Fund Alliance’s Peter Daszak wrote the Lancet letter ridiculing the idea that COVID 19 came from a lab, yet  COVID-19’s inserted S Strike Protein backbone is mirrored in only one other CoronaVirus sequence we know of-  Dr Shi and Dr Baric’s SHC014-CoV/SARS1  lab made CoronaVirus.

Establishments protect themselves first, and damn the rest of the people.  Communist China, which has little regard for any human life other than the Party, gets praised for their “control” of virus spread, which is a very huge lie.  The Epoch Times has been great at directing attention to the outbreaks there, that are not publicized at all in the West.  Since no one can really control a virus that is tiny and invisible, let’s hope that the Politburo gets infected.

JC on a Bike was an academic neuro biologist and self-described “bike seat journalist.” He put out a Coronavirus Special Report on Feb. 27, 2020 on YouTube. His perspective is that of a general biologist (he is not a virologist) who reviews research papers on his bike rides around Pittsburgh and heavily goes into reporting Coronavirus since the early days of Covid in the US in 2020. His conclusion that the coronavirus originated in a lab in Wuhan is based on a post in a blog called Harvard to the Bighouse by a former NSA counterterrorism analyst and ex-con. He provides a long list of references/links. I have been following this guy since then. (I should probably note that this guy might turn some people off. He’s definitely not a Republican or Trump supporter. You can learn a lot about reading technical papers from him. He takes very complex subjects and makes them understandable.)

    Zerohedge has a report out:

Chinese Military Discussed Weaponizing COVID in 2015 to Cause Enemy’s Medical System to Collapse

“In a 263-page document, written by People’s Liberation Army scientists and senior Chinese public health officials and obtained by the US State Department during its investigation into the origins of COVID-19, PLA scientists note how a sudden surge of patients requiring hospitalization during a bioweapon attack “could cause the enemy’s medical system to collapse,” according to The Weekend Australian (a subsidiary of News Corp).”

“It suggests that SARS coronaviruses could herald a “new era of genetic weapons,” and noted that they can be “artificially manipulated into an emerging human disease virus, then weaponized and unleashed in a way never seen before.”

The chairmen of the British and Australian foreign affairs and intelligence committees, Tom Tugendhat and James Paterson, say the document raises major concerns about China’s lack of transparency over the origins of COVID-19.

The Chinese-language paper, titled The Unnatural Origin of SARS and New Species of Man-Made Viruses as Genetic Bioweapons, outlines China’s progress in the research field of biowarfare.

“Following developments in other scientific fields, there have been major advances in the delivery of biological agents,” it states.

“For example, the new-found ability to freeze-dry micro-organisms has made it possible to store biological agents and aerosolise them during attacks.”

So now we have a 2015 document from the Chinese military describing using COVID as a bioweapon – four years before the COVID-19 pandemic breaks out just miles away from a Chinese lab working to make bat COVID more transmissible to humans, and you’re a conspiracy theorist peddling ‘debunked lies’ if you think they might be related.

And for those who say ‘COVID-19 couldn’t be man-made because a laboratory-created virus would have tell-tale signs of manipulation’ – au contraire. As Nicholas Wade noted three days ago in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, “newer methods, called “no-see-um” or “seamless” approaches, leave no defining marks. Nor do other methods for manipulating viruses such as serial passage, the repeated transfer of viruses from one culture of cells to another. If a virus has been manipulated, whether with a seamless method or by serial passage, there is no way of knowing that this is the case. “

It’s as if the painfully obvious answer was right in front of us, only to be shrouded in propaganda by China-friendly politicians, big tech, and news outlets running cover for what should be the easiest game of connect-the-dots on the planet. Luckily, what was taboo as recently as a year ago will soon be exposed for the world to see, thanks to The Bulletin Of Atomic Scientists which earlier this week dared to open The Wuhan Virus “Pandora’s Box“…
