Spring

My energy and creativity are renewed in God as life is renewed in spring.

To look around us in the springtime is to see life. Everything is renewed and refreshed. New green shoots pop up, seemingly every day, and new life is all around us. Flowers emerge in brilliant and vibrant colors. Thinking of spring at any time of the year can bring a smile to our faces.

We do not need to wait for spring to be renewed. Any time and any place we are can be our spring, for our spirits are renewed in God. Let us take a moment in the Silence and know that we are not alone. God will work through us to accomplish our tasks, bring new creativity, provide needed energy, and lead us to our spiritual growth.

Deuteronomy 32:2, “My word shall drop as rain, my speech shall fall as dew, as the gentle wind upon the tender herbs, and as the showers upon the grass;”

I feel like the drab gray, bare trees, and brown grass last an eternity but it is really only 3 1/2 months. I do enjoy watching sunrise through the bare trees, though. In another week, the trees will burst out in new leaves that soon will form an impenetrable green wall that hides the sun from direct view until just after 10AM.

I have a little side project under development regarding these readings, if anyone has suggestions other than the obvious things, like I need a logo.

If you looked out your window, what simple thing would inspire you if you saw it? A green shoot emerging from the snow? A daffodil? Orange horizon predicting the emerging sun?

I cannot hear “daffodil” without that glorious word “jocund” springing to mind.

Today is Daffodil Day at the Pike Place Market, down in the Cesspool of Seattle.  This is the Skagit Valley north of us. 2019.

Boy, did I miss you, Arahant!! Welcome back.

I like it, and it looks a lot easier to shake out the scorpions and such before putting them on.

Very good. We had snow today. All day. It stayed cloudy and grey, too. So, why wait for the outside world to dictate springlike renewal within?  I shall not.

I was playing with my new site and found this one of a similar vein:

    Spiritual Traveler

I am a rich wayfaring stranger traveling through this world of joy. I’m here to learn and teach my brothers, all the while in God’s employ.

e have a mission here on Earth. No matter how bound to a location, a house, a family, a home town, or a job we might seem to be, we have a higher calling as spiritual travelers on the way to finding our Christ consciousness. Our spirits are free to roam and go about the Father’s business within our minds.

Our words are free to go forth and manifest a new and better world.

Our actions are free to help those around us, to help them find Truth, and to help them along on their spiritual journeys beside us. Our actions are also free to precipitate a cascade of actions by those we touch, an avalanche of miracles for all.

St. John 14:12, “Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes in me shall do the works which I do; and even greater than these things shall he do, because I am going to my Father.”

Long time no read.  Is this just a drive-by or are you back for real?

Depends on whether the inspiration comes back. I wrote four full books in less than five months, about 500,000 words. If I get inspired like that again, you won’t see me. 😁

Yes!  Spring is my favorite season. Beautiful day here in NY today. I would count this as one of the ten best if the year. Played basketball at the park against my son this afternoon. Got my butt kicked by that little hot dogging punk. ;) Still a nice day.

Today is what everyone thinks of the Pacific Northwest.  Gray and raining on and off.  No water shortages this summer either, with 33 feet of snow in the Cascades.

Don’t imbibe any spirits then, and maybe you won’t get so inspired.

Spring is such a fabulous season. The smell of the air; the blossoms popping out; the lengthening of daylight. Sigh. I just enjoy it so much every single year.
