Noem’s Presidential Class Act Speech at CPAC 2021
Governor Kristi Noem is known for her unique and successful way of leading South Dakota in facing Coronavirus. Two days into CPAC 2021, Kristi Noem’s powerful speech was by far the best. She spoke about Covid, Fauci, Cuomo, the media, the role of American government, the election loss, American ideals, her father, and what conservatives must do going forward. It will make you tear up. One classy lady and one classy speech.

Presidential material, indeed.
Noem/DeSantis? Or DeSantis/Noem.
Either combination works for me. Or Trump/Noem.
C-SPAN carries the whole conference live, and can be filtered by speaker. Here is the auto-transcription of Governor Noem’s CPAC remarks. The auto-transcription uses all caps.
Here is her 2021 South Dakota State of the State address, also with transcript.
Nice delts.
You noticed that, too, eh?
Sure.
She did a great job.
And she spoke, and did not emote and perform her speech.
Wow. Gave me a wee bit of hope
If a GOP had a chance again, which they don’t. Currently the POTUS election is rigged. Spending money, effort on it is a waste of time. Heck from what I can tell many of the Senator races are a waste of effort.
Then listen to Dan Bongino.
Noem/DeSantis…definitely.
I wonder what type of savings her state will experience through not bearing the hideous costs of unemployment for citizens in the many “lockdown states,” plus the continual training and re-training of state employees who have to try and make logical statements about illogical mandates.
She is an inspiration to those of us not fortunate enough to live in South Dakota.
She was good. Trump was better. But that’s like asking which is better, strawberry ice cream or mint chip? Well, they’re both awesome.
Noem/Owens.
She is wonderful but we need warriors. We are facing an internal multi-faceted “Civil war”. All three branches of government are completely corrupt. GOP filled with RINOs and Democrats are communists. Trump would still be the best choice and from his CPAC speech, he has demonstrated he has once again matured. That is what I admire most about Trump, his ability to LEARN and evolve even at his age. His speech was focused & succint. Whoever dare to run as his VP would demonstrate to us he is a warrior. I suspect it would be either Pompeo or DeSantis. Pompeo is outstanding, he works well with Trump. Noem is the best in terms of package. She is beautiful, eloquent and strong but I have not seen the side of her where she is willing to be offensive. Cleaning the GOP house would require someone tough and to some extent ruthless. I am not sure if she is willing to call out the RINOs.
The three branches are no longer providing checks and balances. They are a cabal to increase federal power.
Re: comment # 4
Thank you for providing a transcript, Clifford Brown.
As a speaker, Governor Kristi Noem is hard-hitting and magical and…..centering or…..grounding. I’ve just never heard anyone like her.
Listening to that speech completely changed for the better my mood about the day.
So I sent the Kristi Noem CPAC speech to my lost-in-leftism family member. He texted back……
”1 in 500 residents of her state died of Covid-19. Her state did amongst the worst of all states.”
Is this true ? What would Ricochet members tell him? Assuming he actually prefers to know the truth, whatever it is, to believing what he’s comfortable believing, what information sources would Ricochet members suggest he look at ?
I don’t know if that’s true, but 1/500 is 0.2%, which is incredibly unconcerning. We submitted to emergency orders because we were led to believe it would be closer to 20%.
Okay, but just out of curiosity: how does 1/500 compare to, say New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania (where he is) ? Where do I look to find out ? (And yes, I am aware that the states that imposed severe lock-down restrictions had deaths and injuries and an increase in health deterioration caused by injurious behavior due to those restrictions—-suicide, medical conditions that went untreated b/c people were in a greater state of fear of going to the Dr, domestic abuse, increased over eating, increased alcohol abuse, etc—-that will never be recognized as restriction related.)

Thank you, Freeven.
