When Free Speech Dies, We All Become Niu Tengyu

This is a heartbreaking true story of a poor, conscientious, and hardworking 20-year-old Mainland Chinese young man. His name is Niu Tengyu.

His alleged crimes: guilty of “picking quarrels and stirring up trouble,” “violating others’ privacy” and “running an illegal business,” after a passport photo of Xi’s daughter Xi Mingze was posted online. Apparently, CCP politicians live in darkness. None of their family members can be publicly exposed. Even though Xi Mingze went to Harvard and there are thousands of her pictures, some even in provocative poses on Google.

The defendant, Niu, is from a single-parent family. He has been a great son, taught himself computer skills, and started a wiki website with an intent to make some extra income as an administrator. One of the forum members who lives overseas posted the photo. But it is enough to infuriate the totalitarian government and exploit this “crisis” for their own political gain. Sound familiar?

Niu has been tortured and permanently disabled as the Provincial Guangdong Government attempt to gains favor with Xi Jinping. Pray for this boy; he is a scapegoat. He will not survive 14 years of hard labor in jail.

Closer to home, when will Democrats stop all the political witch hunts? When will they be satisfied? When all Trump supporters are arrested as domestic terrorists? No, I think not. Democrats want to silent everyone. Americans are on a fast train to Communism. This will be our future.

Back when there was a Soviet Union, we sent Christmas cards to political prisoners. We were told that the fact that they were getting letters from America let both the prisoners and the authorities know that the prisoners were not forgotten. I wonder if anything similar has been set up for China.

Nope. They could hardly get their own family’s letter. I have heard a small part of the official’s leaked tape. It is horrible. “BEAT THEM TILL THEY ALMOST DIE, then stop. Don’t need to write reports with torture. Only Death!”

There is a significant chance this is either in our future or have already been done and covered up here in the US.  The powers that be do not like to be bothered or scared.  That is the way it is with powerful people world wide.  Where the elites do not have this power they are craving it and working toward it.

There was a time in the not so distant past, where I would read your comments, and think: yeah, he’s a bit off the edge…

recently I find myself thinking more often than not: hmmmm.

NTD News has been de-monetized by YouTube/Google.  Their Web site is still active and you can see their news TV there.  And you can donate to their 501(c)(3) account.

A lot of the firearm sites on YouTube have been demonetized. That’s why when you look at the YouTube somewhere in the show they’ll take a break and do a product pitch  plainly telling  you that it’s a paid advertisement for the product and that this is how they able to keep their show alive.

    Nakoula Basseley Nakoula

Could you give us references to the facts about him?  I checked Wikipedia, but the piece was at least in part political propaganda against him*, so the whole article lacks credibility as a neutral reference.

     = = = = = = = =

    Note:

Here is the objectionable Wikipedia text:

“Nakoula has been identified as a key figure behind Innocence of Muslims, an anti-Islamic video posted on YouTube that disparages Islam’s prophet Muhammad, and that has been blamed for sparking demonstrations and riots in the Middle East, North Africa,[1] and other regions.”

Though ostensibly a factual encyclopedia article, the entry is making an arbitrary moral judgement, with the use of the passive voice to make the accusation anonymous.  It plainly implies that if a person said something critical of Muhammad, and Muslims rioted, the riots are the responsibility of the person who gave his opinion, not the Muslims who actually rioted.

Scary is it not?  I just happen to be a bit further on the road of cynicism than most.  Most catch up eventually.

You mean like, if say, Donald Trump gives a speech in the capital and before he concludes his remarks people 2 miles away riot we shouldn’t blame Donald Trump?

I think that you are right about that, too.
