RNC Night 3 Wrap-up
The third night of the Republican National Convention was a more subdued affair, focusing on faith, the military, and women. Wednesday’s speakers weren’t as dynamic as Monday’s and Tuesday’s, but the strong message remained.
Gov. Kristi Noem opened the proceedings, sharing her success leading South Dakota. Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas brought the big guns, literally, delivering his speech from the Battleship Texas in Houston.
Other headliners included Second Lady Karen Pence, Kellyanne Conway, and Lara Trump. Like most of the evening, their speeches were to the point and serviceable. But once again, the so-called “everyday Americans” stole the show.
Ohio school choice advocate Tera Myers spoke of her decision to keep her Down Syndrome baby against her doctor’s advice, and to fight for his educational choice. Nun and surgeon Deirdre Byrne endorsed both religious freedom and the sacredness of life. Chen Guangcheng, a Chinese lawyer and activist, spoke of his fight with the communist government, and civil rights activist Clarence Henderson shared his fight with Jim Crow.
I keep bringing it up, but the key to this convention’s success is featuring everyday Americans instead of snarky celebrities. They bring real-life emotion that shows the importance President Trump has had in their lives. After their loss in 2016, why Democrats keep selling Hollywood lectures is beyond me.
The standout speech of the night was former acting DNI Richard Grenell who took the Russia-addled Dems and foreign policy dilettantes to the woodshed. It was blistering — and a thing of beauty.
Night Three wrapped up with Vice President Mike Pence. The content was great but the delivery slow. Nevertheless, he outlined a strong case against Vice President Biden and for another Trump term. Especially on the riots in Democrat-run cities:
President Donald Trump and I will always support the right of Americans to peaceful protest, but rioting and looting is not peaceful protest, tearing down statues is not free speech. Those who do so will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Last week, Joe Biden didn’t say one word about the violence and chaos engulfing cities across this country.
Let me be clear: the violence must stop — whether in Minneapolis, Portland, or Kenosha.
Too many heroes have died defending our freedoms to see Americans strike each other down.
We will have law and order on the streets of America.
Reviewing the whole night, I could have used more Gov. Noem (because, well). But it was another successful presentation demonstrating the GOP’s surprising message discipline and laser focus on the concerns of drifting Republicans and suburban swing voters.

I’ve really enjoyed hearing regular people explain how government regulation has affected their lives and businesses.
Really like the Pro-Life tone of the convention as well. They’ve been fearless on this issue during this convention. No other GOP convention has had the guts to take this issue on. It’s been fantastic to witness, like they’ve touched this ‘third rail’ but realized the shock is more like static electricity from walking on the carpet.
I know Trump has been an ‘acquired taste’ for many of us but I’m feeling quite united right now.
For the low information voters that may have been evaluating the two parties, the choice of where you’d want to be, who you’d want to hang out with – not even close. Those people on their side are bitter, bitching mental cases. We’re Normal! Sweet, sweet Normal!
Yes, that was a good speech.
We just finished a third evening of wonderful RNC speakers who came from all walks of life in America. They came across as real and relevant. By contrast, the DNC opted for panels with SJW speakers like this one that I heard about on Tucker:
“J Mai (they/them) is a Black-Vietnamese, transgender nonbinary/gender transcendent mermaid Queen-King currently living out their ever-evolving truths in Winston-Salem, NC. A recently licensed minister in the Progressive National Baptist Church, J received their Bachelors in Sociology and Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies at Wake Forest University and is currently working towards a Masters in Divinity at Wake Forest University School of Divinity.”

Pence was awesome. A total rock. That flag flying over the fort, it was like they were daring the mob to try to come and take it. Just beautiful.
The RNC is three for three. One more night and they win the world series. Again the entire team performed well not just the stars. Everybody played way above their head. Beautiful

Coronavirus vaccine
Pence addressed the pandemic with words of hope for Americans, claiming, “We’re on track to have the world’s first safe, effective coronavirus vaccine by the end of this year.”
Facts First: Though there are several vaccine candidates in different phases of testing, there is no guarantee that the Food and Drug Administration will have approved a vaccine by the end of the year. And even once one is approved, it will likely still be many months before it’s widely available across the US.
What a bizarre statement. The Vice President isn’t making promises here. He’s showing optimism whereas the Democrats are only doom and gloom.
The babysitter tells the kids that their mom will be home in an hour. Fact checkers to the rescue – “Kids, there’s no guarantee that mom will be home in an hour. There is a possibility that she will get hit by a truck.”
How sad must life be living like these buzkills?

Yep, they want to have it both ways. If Pope Fauci the Infallible sells the vaccine as coming this year he’s their hero. If Mike Pence says it, his facts must be checked and, of course, be found wanting. These are the same monkeys that don’t believe in facts only narratives anyway.
Send Fauci on a tour of the Siberian COVID facilities. Maybe Putin will poison him. If that fails, send Fauci to check out the COVID facilities in the reeducation camps in Western China. Maybe
Emperor MingXi Jinping will imprison him in a special updated modern dungeon where he will be drugged and forced to watch Tik Tok videos 24hrs a day. That should at least delay his return until after the election.Regards,

A possibility as to why the democrats keep making the same mistakes is they are driven by the same dated leadership who have not figured out that adaptation is the key to growth and sustainability. It is an aged leadership that has gotten rich while in office and they lust for continued power, control and more wealth. They are pessimist who continually use the same playbook while displaying anger, hatred and vindictiveness. They are obsessed with smearing their opponents while they act virtuous. A tactic they continually use is projection. They consistently project their faults on their opponents. If they tell you the opposition is corrupt, it is because they are corrupt, if they call you a racist, it is because they are racist. If they call you incompetent, it is because they are incompetent. They are bullies who try to make themselves look big and important by trying to make the other person appear small and irrelevant. They think by using Hollywood celebrities (actors), the minds of their admirers can be influenced. The democratic leadership is living in the past using dated methods that may have worked in previous elections, but people of all races are now wise to their deceptions. All anyone needs to do is to look at the results of the leadership in the many failed democratically run cities across the United States. The democrats have either failed to adapt, or they have adapted incorrectly to the changing time. Charles Darwin said it best: “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change”.

I had an emergency last night and missed most of the speeches but I did read Vice President Pence’s speech this morning. It was a knockout speech if you ask me. It was a comparison speech of the Trump administration against Biden’s history and agenda. If you’re still a NeverTrump then you’re hopeless. There is a distinct difference in approaches and agendas. If you can’t see beyond your personal hatred of Donald Trump, then you’re not a conservative or a Republican. If you still want to give your vote to Biden and the socialists, there’s something wrong with you. Your derangement is driving your objectivity.

More and more of their usual constituents are waking up. Funny how, in 2020, waking up means not being woke. I found this on Instagram yesterday – the GOP logo was designed by a lesbian who has #walked away. Her handle is “the gay who strayed.”
She writes:
I don’t understand why these people insist a Republican Presidential candidate must be perfect. None of them are. I had different beefs with previous Republican Presidents, and my biggest beef with Trump is he’s not vetoing these bloated budgets.
And this standing on principle thing drives me nuts, too. Okay, so a Never-Trump refuses to vote for Trump. Don’t they want to stick it to the Democrat candidate? The best way to do that is to ensure a Trump win, and voting for someone other than Trump (or not voting) doesn’t do that. How principled is it to put a Democrat in power?
