Can Jeff Sessions Appoint More Special Counsels?

Quoting the great philosopher from Alabama, “hell yeah!” Since it’s politically ill-advisable to fire the ill-advised politically active special counsel from his advisedly ill, politically motivated witch hunt, I have some suggestions. Go for broke, baby. Let’s air all the dirty laundry on the Obama administration and Hillary. After all, those two are far more responsible for our current fiasco than our Twitterlicious Orange Julius Caesar and his bodacious flapping gums. Awesome rock band title there, but I digress.

Please punish the enemies of America, Mr. Sessions:

  1. Fast and Furious. Eric Holder, a few ATF people, and former US President Barack Obama all committed crimes. Pursue all of them to the fullest. There are stacks of a few hundred dead Mexicans and also Brian Terry who would like some justice. Our President knew all about it and obstructed justice. He should have been impeached.
  2. IRS Tea Party Scandal. Douglas Shulman, John Koskinen, Lois Lerner, numerous White House intermediaries, and former US President Barack Obama all belong in prison.
  3. Benghazi Fiasco. Hillary Clinton, Leon Panetta, Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett, Barack Obama, and many others obstructed justice during this weapons-buyback-gone-wrong cover-up. Incidentally, Mitt Romney has to be the biggest moron in the history of American politics. Three well-placed sentences to Candy the Hutt Crowley and Puss in Cahoots Romney had the Oval Office.”Ms. Crowley, the President is lying about what happened because he wants to win the election. Brave Americans died because of him and we are an international embarrassment. The administration is covering up the fiasco with lies and the corrupt media is helping him lie.” Mic drop. President Romney. Guaranteed.
  4. Hillary Clinton Email and Clinton Cash Whitewash. Obama, Comey, the Clintons, Lynch, and others. Just fry them all.
  5. Wiretapping the Trump Team. The spying began a year ago and Russia was the excuse. John Brennan, James Clapper, Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett, Loretta Lynch, and a pile of deep state folks should be tarred and feathered.
  6. The Big Pipe Dream. The Mueller team. All of them. They all need their phones and computers monitored and any outside influence should bring charges of high treason. Go full Democrat on the Mueller squad. Why not, a feller can dream can’t he? Yes, I know this last one is stupid but the first five are scandals that far eclipse what Mueller is looking in to.

We’ve crossed the Rubicon financially and morally long ago. Naked power is all that matters in our brave new world. There is no going back. Punish the enemies of America, Mr. Sessions. Punish with extreme prejudice.

Now this is what I’m talking about!

You want special counsels?  Here’s a half dozen!

It’s a going to dilute the power of any verdict from the current one, and bring a bunch of scandals out into the open.

The big question is: why don’t they do this? Why doesn’t Trump tweet about this and then do it?

    WHY?

I am sure getting even or attacking is on his mind.  There may be reasons why not or why not now.  I have no clue though.   It’s like Obama could shoot someone and his supporters would still love him ;-)

Tens of millions of dollars from uranium investors flowed into the Clinton Foundation, and Bill Clinton received a $500,000 speaking fee from a Russian bank tied to the Kremlin before Secretary of State Hillary Clinton helped decide whether to approve the sale to the Russian government of a company that held one-fifth of America’s uranium capacity.

That’s the “deal” that Donald Trump referenced in a tweet Tuesday morning in which he essentially said that if Congress really wants to find evidence of U.S. politicians colluding with the Russians, it should investigate the $145 million in donations the Clintons’ received from uranium investors before Russia’s energy agency Rostatom secured the purchase of Uranium One.

Trump tweeted: “Why isn’t the House Intelligence Committee looking into the Bill & Hillary deal that allowed big Uranium to go to Russia, Russian speech.”

He followed up with: “… money to Bill, the Hillary Russian “reset,” praise of Russia by Hillary, or Podesta Russian Company. Trump Russia story is a hoax. #MAGA!”

Meanwhile, Congress is examining allegations that the president and his aides colluded with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

The 2010 deal for a majority stake of Canadian-based Uranium One – which required approval from Clinton’s State Department and eight other federal agencies – and its plausible connection to major donations to the Clinton Foundation was exposed by author Peter Schweizer in his book “Clinton Cash and confirmed in a 3,000 word, front-page story by the New York Times.

Also, there was something not kosher whatsoever with the way the CG of USAFRICOM, Gen Ham, was replaced shortly after Benghazi.

TRR: Is a General losing his job over Benghazi?

    By James S. Robbins The Washington Times – October 28, 2012, 12:32AM

(Updated 10/29) Is an American General losing his job for trying to save the Americans besieged in Benghazi? This is the latest potential wrinkle in the growing scandal surrounding the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack that left four men dead and President Obama scrambling for a coherent explanation.

On October 18, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta appeared unexpectedly at an otherwise unrelated briefing on “Efforts to Enhance the Financial Health of the Force.” News organizations and CSPAN were told beforehand there was no news value to the event and gave it scant coverage. In his brief remarks Mr. Panetta said, “Today I am very pleased to announce that President Obama will nominate General David Rodriguez to succeed General Carter Ham as commander of U.S. Africa Command.” This came as a surprise to many, since General Ham had only been in the position for a year and a half. The General is a very well regarded officer who made AFRICOM into a true Combatant Command after the ineffective leadership of his predecessor, General William E. “Kip” Ward. Later, word circulated informally that General Ham was scheduled to rotate out in March 2013 anyway, but according to Joint doctrine, “the tour length for combatant commanders and Defense agency directors is three years.” Some assumed that he was leaving for unspecified personal reasons.

However on October 26, “Ambassador” posted the following RUMINT on TigerDroppings (h/t Jim Hoft):

I heard a story today from someone inside the military that I trust entirely. The story was in reference to General Ham that Panetta referenced in the quote below.

    quote:

“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”

The information I heard today was that General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.

General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.

The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Ham’s place…

Where is the one to investigate members of Congress and their staffers?

Where is the one to investigate Soros and the other nonprofits for inciting violence during the 2016 campaign?

Where is the one to investigate British and Estonian tampering in the 2016?

Attorney General Sessions could do a lot of stuff that is even easier than more special counsels.

I recently heard an interview with Jason Chaffez the Republican Chairman of the House Oversight Committee. He was complaining that things have not gotten any better with the Republican administration.

The House still can not get the DOJ to give them information on the IRS, Fast and Furious, Benghazi or Clinton’s email.

Sessions could order any and all information on any scandal from the last Administration turned over to the House immediately.

If Sessions doesn’t then it will stain his legacy.  I’d hate to think he’s such a go along, get along fellow that he would cover for Obama’s team.

Focus instead of buckshot. As sad as this may seem, the political realities must be forefront in choosing targets.

Fast and Furious – much unknown, a lot of groundwork done, implicates Mueller indirectly. This serves to neutralize Mueller’s own partisan investigation.

Benghazi – There are so many unanswered questions and it involves the death of an Ambassador. How do we not know all of the details? What did the White House know, when did they know about it, and where was the COC when he was briefed? This is, sadly, an election issue. The American public, supporters of our troops, supporters of our diplomatic efforts overseas, and Trump’s base are still interested in what happened. Promises of accountability could/would get out the vote.

Israeli elections 2015/Clinton Foundation Russia Ties – These neutralize claims of election interference and Russia collusion collectively. Obama’s sphere sanctioned efforts to interfere with 270 solutions and Victory 15. Clinton Cash is already written. The main work is done on both of these stories, it just needs to be more publicized.

The last administration may be working in the Deep State shadows, but with the Congress and White House in Republican hands there should be nothing that gets in the way of  aiming some spotlights. They may still work in the shadows but it’s harder to hide when you don’t control the light switches.

Well Doc, you know I always agree with you. But this time I believe in a different tact. My strategy would be simply ignore. Trump should attach Executive Privilege to every conversation he has had and will have with his entire staff or anyone else. Congress should dismantle all hearings and committees having to do with Russian interference (as if that interference hasn’t been happening for over 50 years) because it is not threatening the security of our country. Then they should roll up their sleeves and get to work. Health insurance reform, tax cuts, build us some wall, throw a few bridges in for good measure, and how about upgrading our power grid. Here’s a conversation: “Mr President, it’s Bob Mueller to see you.” Who? asks Trump. “Special Council Mueller, sir” I have no time for him, too busy making America great again, says Trump. Put him on my calendar in six months from now, I might be able to squeeze him in.
