    $170 hamburgers.  It’s a feature, not a bug.

Jeremy Corbyn: “Thanks Hugo Chavez for showing that the poor matter and wealth can be shared.  He made massive contributions to Venezuela & a very wide world.”

Even Fox news hasn’t mentioned it.  Does Rush? or any of the radio shows? Total lack of interest in Latin America is nothing new but at least our conservatives ought to do a story every once in a while.  It deserves a special report.  There are some interesting things going on that make good stories such as it has become a center for bit coin mining, or if people must go out of their homes, they  carry something worth stealing so the thieves don’t  get angry and just kill them.  It’s the murder capital of the world, even worse than Chicago.  It’s a glimpse of dystopia.  We could do  a mad max movie there, in fact thats’ a good idea, one with a huge caste of big Hollywood names.

    Shaming Chavistas

Venezuelan activists are increasingly posting details of locations and lifestyles of leftist officials and their families, depicting them as thriving off corruption while the population struggles to eat in a devastating economic crisis.
The social media blitzes, targeting officials and their business partners, relatives and even lovers, are another weapon in a wave of huge protests against President Nicolas Maduro’s government that began in April. Protesters are seeking early presidential elections, freedom for jailed activists, and humanitarian aid to alleviate chronic food and medicine shortages.

Elected in 2013, Maduro is resisting opposition calls for early elections to remove him.
The opposition blames him for severe food and medicine shortages in the oil-rich nation.
He says the crisis is a US-backed conspiracy.

The footage of Maduro showed a remarkably sparse crowd.

And some seemed remarkably unenthusiastic, too.
