The Red Pill Documentary
I’ve just stumbled upon some interviews of a documentary film maker who has a new film coming out called The Red Pill Documentary. The film is about the filmmaker, Cassie Jaye, who identified as a liberal feminist, who decided to investigate the Men’s Rights Movement. She speaks to men who are MRA’s, as they are identified as, and feminist as well for balance, and also has her own video diary segments as to how her mind has been changed about MRA’s and the legitimacy of their movement, as the title of the film indicates. The red pill is a reference to the film The Matrix in which if you wanted to be taken out of the matrix and have your mind opened to the reality of The Matrix you had to take the red pill.
Recently, Dave Rubin interviewed her about her journey making this film. There are two parts to the interview that are about a half and hour each, I recommend the interview.
Of course, right on cue, feminists and leftists (but I repeat myself) are already trying their best to shut this film down. So now I really want to see it and make it a huge success. It is interesting that leftist want to destroy this film especially since the filmmaker is, or at least was, a liberal feminist herself who by actually talking to the people who were her opposition actually learned something and understood that they may have a point, even if she doesn’t fully agree with them. Isn’t that amazing, but of course the left cannot allow anyone to actually SPEAK and BE HEARD unless they are speaking the correct opinions. Let’s help make this film a success if for nothing else to encourge more liberal filmmakers, like Ms. Jaye to go against the grain and make more films that allow other ideas be heard.

Love the name of her site — I’ll check it out!
I noticed that too.
They point at the positive out-liers of highly successful men and extrapolate that all men are oppressing all women, ignoring the out-liers of highly dysfunctional men whose problems are ignored or mocked, because patriarchy.
Then they flatter themselves as being both compassionate and intellectually sophisticated.
This is sometimes knows as the apex fallacy, hearing the term “men” and interpreting it to mean the most rich and powerful men while blithely forgetting about the other 98% of them.
It’s counterpart is the nadir fallacy, in which women develop sexual harassment policies that permit no man in their work environment to ask them out (just fine when all your co-workers are dorks). Then one day she’s working next to a Thor lookalike, and immediately nothing in the handbook applies.
Here is Milo’s review,

Didn’t my other thread turn into casting the whole alt-right as racist?
I thought that the commentators were casting the whole NeverHillary as racist? No?
I fail to see the problem. Name-calling becomes ineffective with time, even a 7 year-old can rhetorically demoralize name-calling by reciting the word repeatedly and in a different tone and inflection. Then it becomes funny.
Then you can merrily beat your enemy with it over and over again. What Joy!
Who is Diana Davison?
Who is: in bad taste. (Almost as terrible as Avi.)
Unsurprisingly I enjoy them both.
It would be wrong to miss the opportunity to post this video again:
