Is Hillary Trying to Lose?

I’m thinking it’s either that or she needs some new media advisors. Okay, it’s not that; she needs some new media advisors. Here are two video clips that demonstrate the problem. Her performance in them highlight some of her worst traits.

The first clip is a speech in front of what should be a friendly audience. She seems to think that her phony “union boss” act will resonate as productive rather than phony. This performance is reminiscent of the phoniness of Hilry talkin suthrn. The second clip is an attempt at replicating Obama’s success on “Between Two Ferns.” This was an unmitigated disaster. It was more or less a roast, and Hillary demonstrated her paucity of wit. Zach Galifianakis was actually pretty funny (There, I said it!). I’m pretty sure his outreach to millennials was far more successful than hers. Sweet revenge for Bernie fans, no doubt.

Is there any amount of debate preparation that can help her overcome her deficiency in engaging a national audience? Is it possible to either hide or enhance Hillary’s personality?

Larry3435: She suffers from a paranoid persecution complex that seems to make it impossible for her even to consider the possibility that she bears any responsibility for any of her problems.

She is the female Richard Nixon. No wonder she wanted his scalp so badly. Likes repel.

Is this real?  Or some digital creation?  I’m serious.  It’s hard to  believe.  Still it doesn’t matter.  The Democrats will register a hundred million people, the less likely to vote the better, then vote all of them.  That’s the way they do it.  In machine controlled precincts.

Larry3435: Thus, her pathological devotion to hiding everything about herself behind a tsunami of secrecy and deception. Which she cannot bring herself to stop (or even recognize), despite the fact that it is so obviously hurting her. I don’t know what version we’re on as of her latest effort to reintroduce herself; Hillary 23.2? All I know is that the only Hillary we will never see is the “real” Hillary, assuming that there even is such a thing anymore.

This was my reaction to the pneumonia scare. She’s so used to lying about everything that she does it instinctively even when she doesn’t need to.

I also liked her answer about Trump’s marriage vows: “I couldn’t see or hear very well.” That’s way too evocative of “Can’t breathe very well” and “Can’t stand very well.”

Hillary looks angry all the time, and it’s not a good look. I know I am made very uncomfortable looking at the face of an angry woman.

Watching Trump give a speech it’s obvious that he’s having fun. I was surprised at first how often Trump uses words such as love, wonderful, and terrific. He says a lot of very positive things, which is the opposite of how he’s usually portrayed.

It isn’t so much that she sounds angry; it is that she sounds scornful and condescending.

It is like she is saying, “If this is what I have to say to get you pathetic little pudknockers to vote for me, then dammit I’ll say it.”

She strikes me as being irritated that she has to campaign at all. Especially against someone like Donald Trump.

She was pathetic.  In the Funny or Die piece she actually said something to the effect that she should not have agreed to the interview…I’m pretty sure she was serious.

Regarding the 1st woman president thing, I loved his calling her the 1st girl president.  I am so tired of her whole 60’s style feminist schtick.

I was thinking the same thing. Does she mean she can’t see or hear very well in general? A hearing aid and new glasses maybe?

That’s great.  Funny that she’s yelling about right to work.  Even many of my liberal friends agree that Unions are a problem, especially in the public sector.  But maybe that’s because they see it up close.

Me too. The fact that she started reciting her campaign spiel on the matter (little girls and little boys) to a comedian in a comic interview was precious.

The between the ferns video was scripted and intentional.  By treating these scandals as a joke she continues to convince Americans that criticism of her is much ado about nothing.

I didn’t find it one bit funny.

The New York Times Politics page reported this today. Sadly, Hillary didn’t give them much to work with, but they managed to elevate her performance from “dead” to “deadpan.”

The “girl” thingie was great. I bet that frosted the socks of more than a few fems…

I’m sick of the 1st woman prez schtick as well – it’s been going on from day 1 of her run.  And boiled down to the nub of things, that’s pretty much all she has going for her.

Between Two Ferns was a triumph – Politico tells me so:

… check out the latest episode of “Between Two Ferns.” Clinton’s appearance on the web comedy sketch show, which posted Thursday, shows the Democrat at her silent best — it was quickly hailed by critics as one of her most successful interviews, and the candidate who struggles with articulating a coherent positive message didn’t even say much. She sat with a bemused expression on her face while comedian Zach Galifianakis lobbed the absurd at her, asking with a deadpan whether she would have to take a leave of absence from the White House if she got pregnant, and if she was “down with TPP.”
