Shinseki Resigns
President Obama has just announced at a White House press conference that Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki is stepping down.

I think what POTUS said was is that Shinseki had been added to his administration’s resignation wait list.
Time for a new boss, same as the old boss.
But, but the IG’s report isn’t done!
Barry is worried. They want any inquiries into this mess stopped/cauterized ASAP because I guarantee that in the White House E-mail traffic bowels, there are e-mails with subject title’s like: ‘Excessive VA Wait Times may jeopardize President’s public & Congressional support for ACA’, ‘VA Hospitals – Template for Single Payer for America’…
He will be taking a bus tour of America beginning underneath it.
This is a historic moment. Never before has an Obamna Administration cabinet member resigned due to incompetence.
What incompetence? This was noble self-sacrifice:
“He has worked hard to investigate and identify the problem,” the president said, adding that Mr. Shinseki told him that “the V.A. needs new leadership to address it. He does not want to be a distraction.”
Good riddance. The man is, has been, and ever shall be a complete tool.
Suppressive fire from the DC press corps has begun.
Does anyone know why during his news conference ,Obama kept referring to Shinseki as Rick? He never called him Eric.
Of all the scandals circling this administration like planes at O’Hare, why did we finally see a resignation on this one? This was one scandal where Obama was coming under fire from Democrats. And it’s an election year.
My understand is he goes by ‘Ric. But really this sort of thing is why people usually refer to these guys by position and last name.
