Why Is Biden Running? A Theory

It’s tempting, and easy, to dismiss Biden running for reelection as hubris on his part, or else his “puppet masters” doing so in order to keep running the government behind the scenes.  I had another thought for your consideration and discussion.

What if the plan is for Biden to run through the primary season, then shortly before the convention announce that he’s no longer physically up to the job and withdraw, pledging all his delegates to whichever candidate the establishment wants?  This would allow them to avoid some of the crazies in their ranks that might otherwise win the nomination and loose the general.

Am I giving the Democrat establishment too much credit by even suggesting this level of foresight and planning?

Not a bad theory. Only question if that happens is who will be the nominee. Obviously not Kamala. Assume it will be Gov. French Laundry. Punches all the leftist buttons: pro-criminal, pro-illegal alien and homeless, pro high taxes and regulation, Mr. Climate Change. If so best one liner to make ads for the R will be: Don’t Californicate America!

That used to be the Oregon motto, long ago. But then they went ahead and did it to themselves anyway.

No kidding. And one reason why it might work. Show the old Oregon billboards. And then the most recent pictures of Portland. SF not that bad yet. But working hard to get there.

Really?  I thought Portland was working to keep up (down?) with San Fran, not the other way around!

Just curious, I tried doing a search on “gavin noisome” on different search engines, and it assumed I meant the California governor. That’s my chuckle of the day. Even Google knows he’s noisome.

    “Gavin” was probably their clue.

If he runs and wins, it’s just another 4-yr term for Pharaoh Obama. If he doesn’t run, Hillary will assert her ‘inevitability’ again. So they don’t want that and know that Biden will be a puppet to be handled. This is one more battle in the war between Hillary and Obama.

This is the plan for sure. I’m also certain that our worthless, authoritarian, hypocritical, silver-spoon-having, born-on-home-base-and-thinks-he-built-the-stadium, member-of-a-family-that-can’t-stand-each-other, and — worst of all — BEARS fan, Gov. J.B. Pritzker is spending lots of his inherited money in out-of-state races so that he can be considered on the shortlist.

And did such a great job as Gov. Can’t wait to see the debates with him and Gov. French Laundry.  Who lost the most wealthy taxpayers to Florida and Texas? Doubt the count will be close.

That picture of JB is awesome. I can just hear him thinking, as he glances up from what I like to think is a menu, “The children. Yes. Next I shall eat the children. Or perhaps, a gold-encrusted filet of unicorn …”

You have no idea how bad it was in Pricksterville.  Combine Governor Emergency Declaration with Cook County President Toni Taxwinkle and the myriad mandates…it was dreadful.   As I fled to Florida for a few weeks respite I breathed a maskless sigh of relief, happy to see smiling faces once again.  People either forget too easily, or they are true believers.

Let’s not forget those thrilling days of yesteryear when ole Jay Bob removed the toilets of a building he bought to avoid paying Cook County property tax!!  Taxes for thee but not for me!

In 2007, Pritzker and his wife bought a second mansion next to the one they live in on Chicago’s Astor Street, for $3.7 million. As The Chicago Sun-Times reported, that mansion remained vacant and was allowed to fall into disrepair.

And then in October 2015, according to a report by Cook County Inspector General Patrick Blanchard, the Pritzkers had five toilets removed from the second house so that it would be classified as “uninhabitable” in a property tax appeal filed by the Pritzkers. Cook County assesses vacant properties at 10 percent of the market value.

Then there are the horses…the sport of Kings!  Darling daughter rides horses, so they need a farm in Wisconsin and Florida!  Dear daughter had to take her Insta private when she posted maskless bikini photos from Florida while everyone in Illinois was living Daddy’s La Vida Mandate.  But she’s not the brightest light on the string so all those pics are free for anyone to envy once again!!

(Do you get a sense of my opinion of these people?)

subscribe to the puppet masters theory. He’s easily controlled — just give him ice cream and kids to sniff — and the real powers behind the throne can get away with anything.

I second this theory!  Also, if Biden is ever caught “red-handed”, he’s not culpable due to his cognitive deficiencies and whoever is behind the curtain running the show will get away with it – we will never know who the star chamber members are exactly and they will go on to keep fomenting their destruction.

I haven’t looked yet, but when was the last time a President changed VPs in a campaign? I think FDR had four different VPs. At least two as Truman wasn’t there from the beginning.

Three for FDR: John Nance Garner, Henry A. Wallace, & Harry S. Truman

Before and after that, I’m not sure there were any such changes. Cactus Jack lived to 1967, by the way.

I had to look this up.

Grant had two VPs.  So did Jefferson, Madison, Jackson, and Lincoln.

    Yes, he did, too.

The First Democrat elected after the Civil War, Grover Cleveland was the only President to leave the White House and return for a second term four years later.

Is President Trump prepared to be the second such President?

    It’s a slick theory! I like it. But…

I think he’s started to believe his own PR. I think he thinks (or maybe Jill thinks) that he’s actually President. I’m not sure he’d fall on his sword at this point. Is that why Rice left the WH? Let him see what it’s like trying this solo without outside help?

But who knows. It’s all about power. Whatever it takes. Dems play politics like ancient Greek pankration … no holds barred full contact combat.

They might could get him (and Jill) to go along by promising to make the Hunter stuff go away in return.

Or use all that money and Biden family involvement as a threat. I think it is a good theory along with no debates and few press conferences. But who in the world is their candidate?

You know that Mayor Pete (a self-identified “moderate progressive”) is still running for President.  Many Never-Trumpers of all parties would rally around him.
