Surely This Scares Even Democrat Voters…
Republican presidents endure press conferences with insulting accusations screamed at them from all angles. But it’s different for Democrat presidents.
President Biden was photographed at his press conference today with a crib sheet, with a photograph of the “journalist” he was supposed to call on first, her name (with pronunciation), and the question she was going to ask. Sure enough, he called on her first, and she asked the question on the crib sheet. And sure enough, his answer still made no sense. But not for lack of trying with the coordinated efforts of the “media” and the Biden administration.
Democrats are the party of centralized government power. And the “media” and every bureaucratic organization from the FBI to the CDC supports the party of centralized government power however they can. Surely this gives even Democrat voters the creeps. The coordination of the propaganda media, the power of all the federal agencies, federal control of social media, etc. – all in lockstep. Holy crap. This is scary, scary stuff. Every Republican who walks to a podium from now till the election should raise his/her empty hands and say that they won’t corrupt a press event with scripted questions taken only from friendly democrat press. And we can expect that the democrat press will make the candidate’s point in seconds.
I’m getting a little tired of the Ultra Maga thing. Republican candidates should take their cue from Buck and start referring to Dems as Commies. Name a Biden policy that a Communist would object to. I think Trump is going to need a new nickname for Biden, Sleepy Joe just doesn’t cover his persona completely enough for me. Joe doesn’t want to debate anybody, so just start calling him Chicken Joe to shame him into the train wreck that would ensue from any debate.
As an aside, unless there’s some kind of medical emergency, there’s no chance of me ever seeing Kamala debate Maryanne Williamson. Just imagine the drinking game.
Real journalists would never tolerate that. This mediocre bunch is just thrilled to feel important and have “access.” The highly feminized elite is averse to confrontation and prefers credentials to achievement. They are committed to the project of excluding the normals from power. So kabuki press conferences make sense.

Not so sure…I think most Democrats see nothing wrong with centralized government power. Isn’t this how one achieves socialism? Likewise, it follows that all of the agencies of government should be in lockstep and would be opposed to any person or group that believes in independence and Federalism, which is just the long way of saying FREEDOM.

When in college in DC during the Carter years, one of the guys on my my floor worked an internship as the White House correspondent for some tiny inside-the-beltway publication. The circulation was about 500 … But he had a press pass and attended the press conferences. He always had ready in his back pocket, just in case, some softball, hanging-curve, question purpose built to let Carter hit it out of the park.
One day, out of the blue, he got called on. He threw the hanger and Carter hit it out…as predicted. But after that, he got asked questions at 4 or 5 conferences in a row. Which was his plan.
Point being, it’s not about news. It’s not about informing the American people. It’s about face-time and national recognition for the correspondents. Period. It’s all a show. Bread and circuses.
