Has Your Church Been Picketed By Satan?
I only ask because, as I was entering my church parking lot, I suddenly swelled with astonished pride at the site of a Satanist demonstration against my humble church. Now, obviously, as a Christian, I take pride only in He who was crucified for my sins, but this was an inspiring sign that my clergy and congregation are squarely over the target. And, besides, it is in His cause that we draw fire, so to speak. The situation with the Chesapeake Public Schools in Virginia has given us occasion to picket with respectable crowds at School Board meetings and such. I would give more details, but Satan is a monster attention whore.
We may still have some work to do. Our sole picketer did not last long, leaving before we could offer him a PB&J or slice of pizza from the huge feast we were holding. Nor do I want to make too much of this, some clergy I have met might pick up on the idea and start spending parishioner donations on paid demonstrators to perk up their attendees. When drums and laser light shows fall short, desperate measures and all of that. Not that I condone such antics. Maybe they should try Christ, and Him crucified for our sins?
So has your church been picketed by Satan? And why not?
Happy Lord’s Day.

Because if satanists don’t see your church as worth picketing, you’re probably doing something wrong.
I would hope satan is upset with what goes on at my church, but so far, no picketers.
Picketing is only one way Satan attacks the Church; his attacks may be more insidious.
Every day, everywhere.
I think Lucifer is the good guy in the book of Genesis.
I don’t mind the Church of Satan bozos. It’s the ones who deny or don’t realize they are working for him who are far more numerous and dangerous.
My wife has picketed a church. Not for Satan, but against him. She participated with a pro-life group in Wichita to protest the church of George Tiller, the notorious abortionist, and their refusal to confront the evil sitting in their pews. Years later he would be shot at that same church.
I hear a lot of that. I suspect that if the common opinion were always the right opinion, you could take comfort in that.
