What’s the Hurry, Mitch?
Listening to Mark Levin from yesterday. Tell me where I’m wrong:
- The RFMA just passed, which we could have prevented, and without the Lee Amendment.
- We’re about to give another omnibus bill to the Democrats, removing the new Republican House’s leverage before they even sit.
- Another amnesty is coming fast.
All this and more, and not a filibuster in sight. Did Mitch forget about taking our guns, or will that happen next? Because that would just about round out the anti-conservative agenda.
It’s like there was some kind of hurry to get Democrat initiatives signed into law before the House dries up.

Y’ain’t wrong. Disgusting.
No pay checks/ kickbacks/presents/etc. , if the new house is uncooperative .
One other thing . There is the intangible of sticking the Mitch shive in and twisting . He know what we think of him . ” So how’s my Mitch shive feel buddy ! “
The betrayer McConnell wants to prevent the House from using the power of the purse to stop the Biden insanity, which he is all in for of course.
My recommendation is that the new House threaten behind the scenes to open an investigation into those House and Senate members who are a bit too cozy with China, with Turkey Face, Pelosi and Mittens at the top of the list. That might force Turkey Face to radically change his tune, otherwise he will deny the new House control over the 2023 budget which is going to have a humongous, game changing deficit way north of $2 Trillion which if not properly dealt with will spark a inflationary depression.
Everybody knows good Republican candidates will think all of this is exactly what is needed.
This is the only thing standing between us and the left. If we don’t vote for them to lie down and let the left steamroll them then we won’t have anything!
Mitch needs to give his Dem buds a Christmas present.
It’s his “McCain” side. John Boehner put on a rather disgusting display recently.
He already did. He gave them a free subscription to Mitch’s Concession Club. Subscribers get a free pass on legislation dealing with the federal budget, immigration, and Bill of Rights.
He said we shouldn’t risk a shutdown. That means he’s turned the agenda over to the Democrats until the Republicans get a 70% majority in both houses. (Sixty-seven percent would be enough, except we need to allow for the inevitable Republicans who vote Democrat whenever their vote matters.)
I wonder what he’ll come up with if the Republicans ever get 70%.
If we ever hit 60% again, the terrified GOP will split to form a third party and hand the majority back to their Democrat Daddies.
Two parties ruling over us, caffeinated and de-caffeinated.
The RFMA passage is dreadful.
I see nothing in your post suggesting that there will be an amnesty, as well. Is such a bill in the works?
There was. Looks like it failed in Senate negotiations. It was alarming that any such negotiation was even being entertained. We already have the laws we need, but refuse to enforce them. More laws will only make it worse.
I was listening to Levin the day when he opened his show by saying that he was going to take calls for just a few minutes. He said he had a point to make and to hang on for a bit. The rules on the calls were simple. Tell us in one or two words what your concerns/priorities are. A few things were repeated over and over: inflation/cost of living, crime, immigration, energy prices/availability. You get the idea. After a few minutes, Levin asked what the GOPe had as its first issue to address and answered his own question. You listed it above. RFMA. A double-barreled middle finger to the base.
The name of the new party would be Unite! The exclamation mark is part of the name, you know, like “Jeb!”
Who knows, they might even start out with 5-7 Senators.
