Tone-Deaf, Tin-Eared, Clown-Car Republicans
Here’s a hoot, and some chainshot in response:
I took that screenshot myself — it’s valid.
Here’s what’s not valid. The “War on Tea Party” Congress of Boehner and McConnell did the exact same thing after the Tea Party propelled their ungrateful trousers back into power. What year does this moron think it is? Whom does he think he is speaking to? This is about as welcome as President W trying to “sweeten the deal” for conservatives to sell our citizenship for amnesty by adding some money to something we care about.
There’s going to be a hurricane in this fartstorm, and I certainly hope that business-as-usual, no-vision, platitude-outgassing idiots like this one get blown away, a-hootin’ and a-tootin’ as they go, these Cabbage-Pot Republicans.

Impeaching Biden will go nowhere. Wish it would but it will not. He is very corrupt but that is normal behavior for Dems
May the biting wind of change fill their ungrateful trousers, lest their noxious kimchi effluence shall over fill the honey trough, and our betters should choke. And toot.
Ungrateful trousers. Dude.
Oh, I agree. And the reason it will go nowhere is the point.
Impeach Trump didn’t go anywhere, either.
In olden days the first act of Republicans would be to introduce a flag burning amendment so they could blow up their political capital and resume business as usual.
Times have changed. Republicans have not.
Did they really do that?
To be expected of losers who talk in nice round platitudes about goals. When do they ever mention a concrete action that they will perform to achieve those goals when they take power? On no occasion that I can remember.
After this ‘reading’, it is my fervent wish that McCarthy doesn’t become Speaker, and that Ronna McDaniel be deposed, as well.
Destroyed his Presidency and got him removed from office.
More to the point, I’m pretty confident that enough “Republicans” would defect on an impeachment vote, that they might as well not bother.
Gingrich’s CWA, and the “Reduce spending to 2008 levels”. Gingrich was the last Speaker to follow through on anything without kicking us in the teeth and calling us clumsy.
That doesn’t mean you don’t do it. They’ve already gone impeachment-happy. Try a little aversion therapy and see if it works.
I’d like to see impeachment forwarded just to elicit the usual “civility” comments from the professional losers in Congress — just there for the grift.
Yes, but I don’t remember just when. The first time I didn’t realize what was happening.
Yes; many would carefully wait until it was guaranteed to fail before rushing in to vote ‘yes’.
Democrats did pretty well in 18, 20, and 22. Copy their ways. Don’t pretend you’re better than that because you’re not.
A Biden Impeachment Hearing in the House will provide exposure to true high crimes and misdemeanors of this President and those Americans with a functioning brain will see the contrast with the treatment accorded President Trump.
Although we know there was extensive election cheating and rigging, we still have many Americans who vote in ignorance.
Everything you say is true, but I don;t think we’d ever get even 75% of House Republicans to go with it. Maybe not 50%.
We need to get the naysayers on the record before they can vote aye on a losing vote.
I guess I’m dumb. I didn’t understand the original point.
It will play differently with the press. It will all be how the GOP conspiracy theory and Ultra MAGA or Nazi are destroying our democracy.
The problem with the media is that the public’s estimation of their trustworthiness is taking a bath.
But they are better at cheating. It’s in the nature of a person of the left, and it’s not in ours. Do not copy their ways.
Maybe, Maybe not. Seems to me that most of them believe it to some degree. It is always the other guys media that is wrong. My Leftist friends hate FOX and conservative media with a hatred of a thousand blazing suns. So that is the question. Do they just hate and distrust our stuff and we theirs? There was a time I thought that MSM had some things right. I now do not believe any of that.
Not only do we have to copy we have to be better at it. Losing with dignity does not help anybody. Especially not any kids and grandchildren that come after you.
I think presence within what we sometimes refer to as a bubble has an effect on this process. The mainstream media, high-tech companies, the investment business, government, entertainment, education all fall into this milieu. Some of it is the profession and some is the physical community setting so some people fall into both. This appears to enable beliefs delivered by emotional proximity rather than through objective thinking.
They might say they don’t trust the media, but somehow that doesn’t seem to stop them from believing what they read and hear.
Maybe it’s like how people disapprove of Congress but like their own Representative/Senators.
Yes, it will play differently with the press. If you aren’t planning to take advantage of that, then this is not for you.
You’re being too nice here.
They’d be better off showing the US Debt Clock, watch it run up the per-taxpayer total (not per capita, per people who actually pay net taxes), and just let it sit for 60 seconds of silence as it runs up.
We don’t need lessons in the Constitution. We need you idiots to cease the trainwreck.
