What Is Our Society Coming To?

In Friday’s Wall Street Journal, there was an article with the following title: Roe’s Reversal Leaves Doctors in Flux.

The photo accompanying the article was of a woman getting a pregnancy ultrasound. The article profiled some OB-GYN doctors whose specialty is abortion. These unfortunate doctors are contemplating what they will do if their states severely curtail or ban abortion outright. They are worried about being unable to do their jobs and about women whose access to “reproductive health care” might be reduced. One doctor in Wyoming, whose practice is in Jackson (the wealthiest part of a sparsely-populated state), says she will fight to retain the right to provide abortion “care” by fighting her state’s law in court.

These doctors have decided that being able to do abortions is their most important OB-GYN duty, and they are preparing to drive to other states to do their work, fight new laws in court, and help increase staffing in clinics where abortion will remain legal.

One more important fact from the article: All of the abortionists profiled and mentioned are women. What is wrong with these women OB-GYN doctors who prefer killing babies to delivering them? How can the woman technician doing the ultrasound in the picture, and seeing the tiny human being in her patient’s womb, consider killing it a duty? Radical Feminism is an evil spell on modern society.

They are worried about not being able to do their jobs, and about women whose access to “reproductive health care” might be reduced.

So we should be assured that the bottom lines of their practices have nothing to do with things?    It seems relatively uncomplicated.  Continue the practice in compliance with state law or move the practice to where the law is more to your liking.

Abortionists are the least competent doctors.   Killing is pretty straightforward;   figuring out what is afflicting a person and counteracting it is difficult and takes intelligence and creativity.     The abortionists are only suited to killing.

“Abortion care” is a term I never heard until recently, but now it’s the preferred term used by our governor in NY. She wants everyone in the country to know they’re welcome to come for abortion care in NY.

Same with Washington State.  Planned Parenthood is setting up abortion “clinics” near the Idaho border for their women who want to come to WA to kill their babies.  With MY tax dollars!

Any doctor who does elective late term abortions is a dangerous psychopath, like someone who kills animals for fun.

These are more of the leftie thing when everybody starts using the same terminology within about an hour of each other.  I’ve never figured it out except for maybe some kind of universal brain wave machine that sends out messages to those that have encoder rings.  “Alert, alert, remember to use the word transphobic 10 times today.”

Some of them kill a few too many.

An expected survival rate of 50% shouldn’t be that hard, but some fall short of that.

That might make them easier to catch if and when they turn to psychopathic crimes to get their jollies, now that their main line of work will be harder to come by.

Here in the WA 8th Congressional Distirct (which Dist had been occupied by Republicans since its inception in 1980), our incumbent Dem. Rep. is a female pediatrician, i.e., a practicing baby doctor, who fully supports the left’s radical abortion agenda. I was appalled when she was nominated, more appalled she  got elected, and can only hope this year’s midterms will see her made a one-term Representative.

This is exactly true.  I’ve worked in five cities in the Northeast as an ObGyn sub-specialist.  In each of those cities, the abortionists were the least capable Docs, the ones who had the most to gain financially by offering a bottom-dwelling service.  No more than 10% of ObGyn Docs will do abortions, most of us are repulsed by the idea.  The fact that our professional societies are solidly pro-fetal murder does not reflect the views of their members.

From #6: Any doctor who does elective late term abortions is a dangerous psychopath, like someone who kills animals for fun.

No argument.  The word “elective” is important here, though.  And are deer hunters dangerous psychopaths?

Sadly New Mexico is becoming a destination for abortion clinics. The clinic from the Dobbs case is moving here and a number of Texas clinics have announced intentions to move here.

@rushbabe49, a dear friend of mine is a semi-retired nurse-midwife who has delivered many babies over the course of her career.  She is a pro-life Christian.    Leftists long since took over the leadership of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, of which she is a long-time member.

The organization recently issued a routine denunciation of the Dobbs decision.  My friend, who has long deplored the organization’s support for abortion, was on a Zoom call where the wording of the press release was being discussed.  She pointed out that the organization’s historical position was to support the safe and healthy delivery of the baby, who has always been considered a patient just as much as the mother, and that the proposed statement was inconsistent with the organization’s stated goals and history.   Of course, the loud extremists overrode her.   She later received a number of private messages from other members agreeing with her, but who lacked the courage to stand up to the mob.  Sad……

If an MD in Jackson  WY wants to do abortions, she can move to any number of places, selling her home in Jackson for several million dollars to do so.   Housing prices have increased several thousand percent over the last number of years.  If she wants to stay in Jackson, which I understand, and stop doing abortions she could practice medicine.
