I’ve been observing Clinton(s) for the last 24 years; a few extra clips won’t change anything.  I’m still voting for Gary Johnson.

Thank you for the softball.  Voting for someone who can’t win is the same as not voting.

This is only true because everyone who is disgusted with our current two candidates thinks the way you do. No party owns my vote.

I plan to watch as much of the Dem convention as I can stomach, just to remind myself of who they are and what they believe.  It makes my otherwise unpalatable choice much more digestible.

    If after 4 nights of:

    race baiting,

    cop hating,

    abortion mill celebrating,

    gun grabbing,

    religion suppressing,

    border erasing,

    federal power enhancing,

    military condemning,

    wealth redistributing,

    Islamist appeasement,

    America debasement,

and the like doesn’t convince you that you have only one rational choice in this election, then nothing any conservative can say will convince you.  The differences are stark and unambiguous.  Even if you don’t trust either of the candidates, what pretense they display should be enough to decide which will be worst.

And that’s the best you can hope for with this election, least worst.  Because the simple, undeniable fact is that either Hillary or Trump WILL be the next president.

Jamie,  here’s another way to look at it.

Donald Trump and Gary Johnson, while very flawed, would both be better in the Presidency than Hillary Clinton.  If the two men were to trade poll numbers such that Mr. Johnson were the one roughly even with Hillary, Mr Johnson would have my vote.

Often, it is more important to vote against someone than for them.  I will always vote against the hard left in the most effective way possible.  My conscience would allow nothing else.

That’s my virtue signal for the day.

I still don’t get how people can muster so much hatred for Hillary. It’s not like she is any worse than a generic Democrat. It’s not like she’s going to do anything that practically any other Democrat wouldn’t do.

    1.  She is worse, by virtue of her and her husbands penchant for skirting the law.  They are corrupt.  Simple as that.  Not all Democrats are corrupt, and none I know of are corrupt to that extent.
    2. A generic Democrat is bad enough
    3. The fact that she is going to do what most Democrats would do is the most convincing reason to keep her away from the presidency!

Just curious, were you adult and politically informed during the Clinton administration?  Because that is where I learned to exceptionally distrust Hillary.  If you don’t remember those days like I do, I can understand the disconnect.

Well, I grew up during the Clinton years. Seems like we survived those just fine despite Clinton being a horrible person. Some of the biggest Conservative victories happened when Clinton had the veto pen. If she’s anything like her husband, she would probably be better than the last eight years, again despite all the horrible things people get so upset about.

I actually don’t think Trump would be better on balance than Hillary. That is the impasse that NeverTrump and ReluctantTrump have reached. I think they will be bad in different ways but I think the potential downsides of Trump are severe enough to cancel out any potential good.

May Trumpers and ReluctantTrumpers take it as given that Hillary is obviously worse than Trump – they should try to understand that others don’t share this judgement.

Somewhere close to 50% of American voters don’t.  They openly support Hillary and they are mostly Democrats.

I’ll never be able to watch tonight. The few snippets I saw last time around still make my blood pressure rise. One of the worst things is finding out that some of my favorite celebrities are idiots. Kerry Washington actually got up there and said that Republicans want to take the vote away from women. (?!?) And Eva Longoria. GAH. I can’t do it. I’m watching movies. Or maybe the Investigation Discovery Channel, where there are murders.

I”ll watch any juicy clips or riots that happen after the fact. I hope it’s more of a sideshow garbage fire than the republican  convention was.

I want to to see both these candidates reap the whirlwind. I want them embarrassed, ashamed and broken. I want them both in jail where they belong. Where neither of them can hurt more innocent people with their selfish criminal behavior and they won’t be lapdogs to Putin’s mafia run Russia. I’m glad both parties are suffering and I hope they experience more of it. They deserve every ounce of pain for propping up two unfit criminal/moral degenerates for the highest office of the land.

…So yeah, I guess I could still go either way.
