Who Knew? This Explains Everything!
Yesterday I was startled to read (and later it was confirmed by Tucker) that the reason for my backwardness is that all my life I’ve been stricken with the disease of “Whiteness” and, regrettably, there is no known cure.
When I told my wife, we were both stricken with grief (since she is Hispanic, I assume that there is still hope for her). As it turns out, my condition is “malignant, parasitic-like” and I have little to look forward to, except a life of misery.
I had no idea that I was suffering from this condition. I suppose that I should have seen the symptoms which include, “possessing an entitled dominion” that enabled me, as the “host” to wield power “without limit, force without restriction, violence without mercy and an increased desire to terrorize”. And, tragically, my “pathology” is “voracious, insatiable and perverse”.
I was offered a brief glimmer of hope when the author of the article, Dr. Donald Moss, stated that effective treatment, “consists of a combination of psychic and social-historical interventions. Such interventions can reasonably aim only to reshape Whiteness’s infiltrated appetites – to reduce their intensity, redistribute their aims, and occasionally turn those aims toward the work of reparation. However, my hopes were quickly dashed when the good doctor added that, “there is no guarantee against regression and there is not yet a permanent cure.” In other words, I’m screwed.
OK, maybe the above is a bit tongue in cheek. It’s totally laughable. However, when they appeared, I thought that Critical Race Theory (and its bastard child, The 1619 Project) were laughable. I was totally wrong.
White Guilt and White self-hatred (which Shelby Steele has written admirably about) have taken over our national conversation. It is the driving force in one of our national parties (and has even permeated the other party).
As @ekosj showed us in his last post, CRT is no longer an outlier; when a former president puts his “blessing” on this “philosophy”, it is something to be reckoned with. In addition, as @vancerichards mentioned in his recent post, it has become very trendy for white liberals to apologize for any slight that has occurred in the last 500 years. When it becomes something that local school boards are seeking to instill in their students, then it becomes a threat to our entire country.
I view this “Doctor’s” article as just one more idea in an incremental push toward the end of our society. We laugh at our own peril.
It is not enough to simply call B.S. on this garbage. We have to scream B.S. on it. No more apologies and no more trying to “reason” with these people. They are simply too full of self-hatred to listen to reason.

Whenever a squish complains that it is ‘unconservative’ to ban the promotion of Critical Race Theory in public schools, ask them if they support the right of public school districts to promote Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

True, true. But private schools are also part of the problem.
The irony is they’re cutting their own throats. Avoiding nonsense like CRT and other trendy positions are one of the many reasons parents send their children to private school in the first place . . .
They care more about remaining marginally acceptable within the Overton Window of their left-wing peers and neighbors than they do their own material welfare…..and since no one likes to believe themselves to be easily influenced moral cowards, they have internalized the narrative, believing they can justify a ‘kinder, gentler’ form of it on a conservative or Christian basis, thereby uniting the country, and rationalizing all incidents related to these ideas to be regrettable growing pains within a movement, rather than an intrinsic and self-reinforcing (and frequently, downward-spiraling) aspect of the ideology in question.
In other words, the exact same process through which such blatantly horrific ideas and movements as the Protocols, the 1920s KKK, or Communism became mainstream movements within societies comprised of otherwise decent people. Yes, that means that those friendly, respectable neighbors with BLM signs in their yards advocating for a CRT curriculum are generally no better than those historical populations-and might be worse, given that they have access to a lot more documented historical lessons to draw upon.
It is a religious cult, not a political one. They must be challenged.
What “systems” are “systemically” racist? List and explain.
Why do you deny that America is now less racist than at any time in its history and far more accepting of differences among people than Europe, China or Africa?
Exactly how does helping white suburban women finding new and exciting reasons to feel guilty for things they did not do (“doing the work”) help young black men make better choices?
Why are you trying to strip black people of agency and power over their own lives and persuade them to wait for white liberals to change their lives for them?
