Ladies, Don’t Cheer on Brad & Jen
Last night at the SAG Awards, a few pictures worth 1,000 words raced around the Internet.
Folks…

Across my female social circles, hearts were aflutter. Brad and Jen, reunited!
Why is any self-respecting woman cheering this? Many years after publicly cheating on his wife, he does her the favor of paying attention to her? Too little, too late pal.
I do not understand the obsession w/ Brad & Jen getting back together. They were married, she was devoted to the marriage, he cheated on her extremely publicly & left. He's not a good guy
If you want a celeb couple to back, Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russel are going on 40yrs together.. https://t.co/Q3pM1XaaB9

What does this say to young women about how they should expect to be treated by men? They deserve more than men like Brad, and it would be nice for celebrity publications to bear in mind the message they’re sending before excitedly plastering the photos in their pages.

According to Wikipedia (here), both spellings are generally acceptable, though some view “whisky” and “whiskey” as referring to slightly different things (based on “the style or origin of the spirit being described”).
Wikipedia does report that “whiskey” is generally used in the US and Ireland, while “whisky” is generally used elsewhere (presumably in the Anglosphere).
I contemplated a comment on Spin’s usage, but assumed that he was either: (1) gently proposing that he take the place of the dear departed Roger Scruton as our favorite English gentleman; or (2) offering an homage to our founder Rob Long’s two recent podcasts — the “Benignly Pompous” Ricochet podcast and the “Extreme Affectation” episode of GLoP. :)
It has always been an honour to know Spin.
True, anyone who’s ever made a studio movie has a larger audience than all of us.
I dont know anyone. I do remember the media sympathy for Jennifer Anniston when she got dumped by Brad, and the media joy when Angela Jolie also got cheated on and dumped. All the pretty boys that I know, treat women poorly.
Social disease? I was thinking of something along the lines of crabs or jalapeno seeds. Yea its a lot harsh, but I meant it in jest, most people in Hollywood have spent their lives avoiding what they deserve.
