Ask the Founders: Summer Edition
A couple of times a year, we forgo the guests and open the floor up to you, our faithful Ricochet members. have a question for Peter or Rob? Post it in the comments and they’ll answer as many as they can get to in this week’s show (we’re recording on Thursday at 4PM PT). Ask whatever you like, but please: no math.

Peter & Rob:
You’re stuck alone on a desert island for 72 hours. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice desert island with electricity, plumbing, you’ve got a nice suite. There’s alcohol.
You can only have one, would you rather have:
-a phone, only capable of point-to-point communications (call, text)
-a phone, only capable of playing music, but you get to pick the music that’s uploaded (assume great speakers, etc)
-something to read, you get to pick
-a computer on which you can only access internet
-something else?
You’re almost describing a cruise, so I know the answer: something to read. Uninterrupted hours of reading time is a rarity; everything else described – computer, phone, music – is common.
Thanks for all the great questions! The show is now live here.
