The scenes and the pictures coming out of Houston are truly different than other disasters we’ve seen in the last 20 years. No whining, no blaming, no politics, just love for each other. Truly inspiring.

Give it time. The DNC-led MSM is digging hard for a viable excuse to use to blame Trump for something, anything, related to the Hurricane to use against him.

They already got shot down by our awesome Governor for trying to blame Trump for not ordering the evacuation. Let’s see what they try next.

@jctpatriot, I guess you didn’t hear: the Hurricane itself is Trumps fault. It’s karmic retribution for voting for Trump.

Exactly! We were joking about this in private ( or semi-private..)  remember?  But this guy, Kenneth Storey  of University of Tampa , actually did say that. He has apologized for the original Tweet, sorta, but justified it on the very grounds that The GOP doesnt care about climate change, witness withdrawal from Paris accord.

We just cannot keep ahead of these bozos.  How can you parody self-parody?

Thanks EJ. If speech was virtue Heaven would be filled with high rise condos. These photos show us what is good about America.

I just saw a video of a white guy carrying a little black kid through the floodwaters!

Scrub it, now!! it does not fit the narrative…or wait,

I don’t know about this, @hypatia, I saw one of a black guy carrying two white kids through the floodwaters, one in each arm.

It’s almost like it just doesn’t matter to them.

That is how Houston rolls. In my neighborhood there is a guy I would term the Ultimate Texas Redneck, and next door to him is Mr. Black Power. They are good buddies, and probably patrolling the neighborhood together looking for other neighbors who need help. A Hispanic man on my street came by after Ike to help out anyone who needed some chainsaw work done. (He loved the opportunity to use that thing.)

Around Houston you are either a stand-up guy or a jerk based on your actions. Color does not matter.

    Sea,

What a beautiful tribute to Houston. Couldn’t be better. I guess Joel Osteen didn’t want to get called a jerk either.

Joel Osteen says church has opened doors to flood victims

I think it is too late for Joel.  It is sad when a furniture magnate shows more Christian charity than a preacher.

FIFY – Osteen is no preacher.  There are words I could use for him, but most of them are unprintable.

    Skip & Sea,

Not that Osteen isn’t doing all that he can to receive disdain but here is a CNN reporter that is a close runner up.

Rescued Woman Goes Off On CNN For Hurricane Harvey Coverage [VIDEO]

    Whoops.

    Whoops.

Hey, as I have mentioned, I listen to Fox News on Sirius XM in my car at lunch sometimes.

Today, there was supposedly a levee that was “breached” and they ordered people to get out fast. Instead, a bunch of dudes in the neighborhood started tearing stuff up and throwing it on the “breach” and closed it back up. The interview, broadcast live, was hilarious because the reporter expected there to be people on roofs and stuff, and instead it was just these dudes fixing the problem.

The reporter said something to one of the dudes about them being scared or worried about what might happen, and I swear the guy says, live on the air…

“Naw, you media types are all about making everything dramatic. We’re all ‘No Drama’ over here.”

The reporter couldn’t help himself. He had to laugh.

I looked for the video for a while and couldn’t find it.
