Your tax dollars at work:

Army officials have informed Chelsea Manning that they will provide her with gender transition surgery, her lawyer tells BuzzFeed News.

A lawyer for Manning, the ACLU’s Chase Strangio, spoke with Manning on Tuesday after she was informed of the military’s decision. Manning, serving a 35-year prison sentence for violating the Espionage Act, received a recommendation from her psychologist in April that she receive surgery related to her gender dysphoria.

“I am unendingly relieved that the military is finally doing the right thing. I applaud them for that. This is all that I wanted — for them to let me be me,” Manning said in a statement provided by her lawyers.

“But it is hard not to wonder why it has taken so long. Also, why were such drastic measures needed? The surgery was recommended back in April 2016. The recommendations for my hair length were back in 2014,” Manning continued in the statement. “In any case, I hope this sets a precedent for the thousands of trans people behind me hoping they will be given the treatment they need.”

Did the Army make the right call or is this another example of political correctness gone wild?

This whole Manning (unfortunate surname given the surgery he will undergo) sex change while doing time in an Army Prison for espionage is so absurd it could be a Monty Python sketch

Is it any wonder why the US military can no longer win a war any more?  Even against 3rd world basket case nations?

Second, there are a host of medical doctors who should be prosecuted, with pitchforks and rifles if necessary, for this highly technical yet completely barbarous witch-hunt.  Salem was nothing compared to this absolute horror and travesty of mutilating the mentally ill.

At least the aborted don’t have years to suffer before and after.

No.  We could win if we tried.  We’re not trying.  The military could whip any foe in the world, but it is led by scoundrels following orders from enemies.

I came across this article that speaks to the Gender Identity Mandate (GIM) in the Affordable Care Act and the threat to health care rights of conscience.

More evidence of having to pass the law to know what’s in it.

After describing what the GIM requires and what physicians receiving federal reimbursement must do to comply, and how upcoming conflicts between transgender rights and health care rights of conscience could play out in the clinical setting, the author shows why current legal, judicial and political precedents dictate health care providers need additional conscience protection in the wake of Obamacare’s GIM.

    Chelsea de-mannds the operation?

Brilliant!  Will he now be called Unmanning?  (And yes I wrote “he”–so sue me.)

The medical profession should never have collaborated in this surgical mayhem.  But at least this guy is out of active duty.  A few weeks ago I read that the military will pay for recruits, soldiers headed for active duty, to  maim their genitals.  To get major elective surgery as they ENTER  military service.

uhhhhh..I thought the point of military entry physicals was to make sure the entering soldiers were in GOOD physical shape?

You know, so they can FIGHT?  Just in case?

Now we’re actively recruiting soldiers who

    (a) suffer from the delusion that they aren’t really what they biologically are;

    (b) will require ongoing medication (hormones) and psychiatric intervention (suicide rates much higher among trans-sex surgery patients); and

    (c) will begin their military service in recovery from major surgery.

oh, and plus, wounded veterans will have to wait even longer for treatment while these perfectly healthy, never-seen-action recruits undergo voluntary surgical mayhem.

Are there any any adults in charge here?

What is so difficult about some military official with the authority to do so  …. like maybe the Commander In Chief ….. saying “NO,  the United States military will not be performing, paying for, talking about, acknowledging the existence of a medical procedure which ostensibly changes the gender of a human being”

This procedure should have no government involvement what so ever …. taxpayers should NOT have to pay for sex change operations in any context.

Probable Cause: Traitors used to get the death penalty.

Now they get their genitals surgically removed and they’re called a hero

I wonder if our military leaders have had their genitals surgically removed.
