Maybe that got your attention. Obviously I don’t mean that the opinions of all experts should be ignored. But recently TPTB have selected certain experts whose pronouncements are not to be questioned. The issues on which we were supposed to trust the “science” included COVID lockdowns, the mRNA vaccine, mask wearing, the six-foot rule, etc.
But are these people worthy of this trust? I’ll cover egregious examples in several posts.

Elizabeth Holmes tried to pattern herself after Steve Jobs. She wore a black turtleneck to evoke his memory. Her fraudulent company, Theranos, had many of the best and brightest on its board:
Jim Mattis: Retired Marine Corps general, later U.S. Secretary of Defense.
Henry Kissinger: Former U.S. Secretary of State.
William Perry: Former U.S. Secretary of Defense.
George Shultz: Former U.S. Secretary of State.
Shultz’s grandson Tyler worked for Theranos and warned his grandfather, without success, that it was a fraud. Theranos claimed that it had revolutionary blood-testing technology capable of performing numerous tests with just a few drops of blood, using its “Edison” device. The company stated that its technology was faster, more accurate, and more reliable than conventional methods. These claims were fabricated, and the technology was unreliable and inaccurate.
None of these prominent people had any experience in the medical testing field. One would think they would have done some due diligence before joining the board. I can’t judge a person’s motives, but perhaps the money was good and the flattering attention from an attractive young woman won them over. In addition, they may have found life boring after holding a senior cabinet post; Theranos offered the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge technology. At one point, Theranos was valued at 9 billion dollars, and Ms. Holmes was the youngest self-made female billionaire in the U.S.
The TED talk she gave was atrocious. She spoke throughout in unnaturally short phrases. Perhaps someone was giving her the words through an earpiece.
She was convicted of defrauding investors and sentenced to 11.25 years in prison.

Many people might have nodded along with the headline at least since 2020 (Covid).Â
Maybe not idiots, but liars and excellent pretenders.
IIRC Schultz also crapped on his grandson pretty hard and never admitted being wrong.
And here is People magazine’s puff piece on poor suffering Elizabeth.
She’s hot – why shouldn’t I listen to her?
Only listen to her in bed.
