I worry about feeling too good about this election too soon, but this is really encouraging. The crowd to hear Romney and Ryan tonight in Colorado:

...but...but...Sandra Fluke is in a parking lot and has ten people fired up. I mean anyone can gather an enormous sea of people together...but you have to have the right...uh...ten...people - - oh never mind.
Re: Wow! The Romney Crowd In Colorado
My folks were there and I loved their pictures. Red Rocks is my all time favorite concert venue (and natural amphitheater!) But this one off Twitter was my favorite:

I bet that was amazing. The enthusiasm is tremendous these days. I saw the Grateful Dead there. I think.

Hmm...the Red rocks have turned Blue...not that that's symbolic or anything...maybe they became more red as the evening, ahem, progressed.

Re: Wow! The Romney Crowd In Colorado
Any realistic estimate available of the number of people there?

Re: Wow! The Romney Crowd In Colorado
The venue seats somewhere around 9500, I believe, and they filled it and were turning people away, according to my twitter feed. I can say that the traffic on C-470 (our beltway) near the exits leading to the amphitheatre was seriously messed up as early as 5 pm, and likely only got worse.

Red Rocks seats 9500 and people were reportedly turned away.

I read a quote of Anne Coulter's a few years back when an interviewer incredulously asked how she could be a Grateful Dead fan. Part of her response was that deadheads (largely unbeknownst to them) were actually more conservative/libertarian than anything else. Anything to add?

This was the Ryan rally in an airplane hangar in Colorado Springs Sunday night. The energy was just tremendous! The best part, aside from when they opened the hangar doors to reveal a huge Romney/Ryan sign and Ryan's airplane (Believe in America) in the background at which point Ryan trotted onto the platform, was just being in the company of so many good, kind, hard working, like-minded people. I can't recommend it enough to you. Take your kids. My youngest is in the pink shirt, on her dad's shoulders at the top of the picture.
I'm in the sea of people about 5 feet behind Ryan's head. Missed a handshake by that much!

Wow, imagine the logistics of gathering all of America's racists in one spot like that!

My family was there last night and it was packed! We literally had to hike 2miles up to the venue because they closed off the parking. The energy was amazing!

For every acid boggled activist there is a mushroom clouded peacenik that dislikes interventionalism of all flavors. I went to a number of shows with some college friends and it was always a good time. The dislike of a controlling government unifies and I remember through the fog of good times having some conversations along those lines in a nimbus cloud filled VW Microbus. Such a long long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.

Wow. What was your big take away bout Ryan's message?
