Brad Sherman and Howard Berman, Both Democratic Incumbents, Get into Near-Altercation at Forum

Because of redistricting, Democratic Congressmen Howard Berman and Brad Sherman are running for the same seat. Yesterday, the two spoke at a forum in Woodland Hills, California. The rhetoric became very heated, and at one point Sherman put his arm around Berman and asked "Do you want to get into this?" A uniformed officer came between them and asked that they move away from each other.

Given that they are political twins, this circus is absolutely hilarious! But this is the choice we have this November. A total head-scratcher!
The upside - I am getting more negative ads in mail than any time in my 20 years in California!

like blustering biden, or most of the new tv shows, the movies, the crude zeitgeist that rolls over us, this is the democrat party today.
and none of the democrats appear to recognize that. and the republicans that do don't bother to mention it or are scoffed at when they do.
it is indicative of a systematic, party-wide panic . losing your manners means more than getting ready to rumble, it means you value your existence less. these folks have devalued pretty much everything, and somehow unconsciously they know it.
let's stand back and try to avoid the splatter

Lefties don't know how to make an argument. They simply call their opponent names ("liar" "racist" "homophobe" etc.) and challenge their opponent's motives. Lefties also think that they are moral paragons - caring, tolerant, open-minded, rational. Therefore, put two of them in a room in opposition to each other and you get bile and indignation. It's inevitable. You could take it back to Lenin and Trotsky.
