This is what I call great news! Mona appears fairly regularly on John Batchelor's show and is as compelling talking politics and culture as she is in writing about those subjects at NRO and elsewhere. She also has special insights on raising sons.
Jay's Impromptus at NRO combines an informal tone with great reporting: there's no greater friend to jailed dissidents in China and Cuba than Jay: he makes sure we never forget them.
Just when you think Ricochet has reached a state of perfection.

Awesome news! Jay is one of my absolute favorites on NRO. Can't read enough of him. And Mona, I allays look forward to your perspective here on Ricochet. Pretty soon I'll have a Ricochet podcast for everyday at the gym. Thank you all! A welcome alternative to my old playlists. I hope that's the right use of "alternative," Jay!

I will listen tomorrow when I have time. I am thrilled, Mona, to have you become a contributor here. Really thrilled. I have been a fan for decades now. I loved you in those years you were on the McLaughlin Group in the 1980s and ever since. I have to say that -- regarding political understanding -- only WFB and President Reagan influenced me more than you. Thanks for all that.
And welcome Jay. Love your writings for NR.
