Too Many Jokes ...
I love me some Gary Johnson, I really do. I wish the former New Mexico governor and drug legalization advocate were in more debates and while I certainly don't agree with him on everything, I am glad the Republican Party has a strong libertarian wing that includes men such as him.
But man if this latest news doesn't play to type:
The former New Mexico governor is headed to New Hampshire to file for the 2012 primary in person after his campaign missed the deadline to file via a representative.
NBC reported Thursday night that Johnson was on the trail in Arizona and that his communications director sounded "shocked, in a telephone interview when told the news" that the long-shot campaign missed New Hampshire's Thursday cutoff for filing by proxy.
Candidates can still file in person on Friday. So Johnson is taking matters into his own hands, tweeting overnight: "Headed to New Hampshire to file for the primary!"

If by "trail" they mean "mountain bike trail", he's forgiven. How often do you get to say "Hi, I'd like to file to be president of the United States"?
I love Gary Johnson; he has the politics of Calvin Coolidge and the adventurous soul (though without the fire) of Teddy Roosevelt. While usually I wouldn't wish GQ on my worst enemy, this article gives some insight into his temperament.
