Charlotte Meetup! — D.C. McAllister
Ricochet at Ri Ra Irish Pub in Charlotte (above photo). From left to right: D.C. McAllister, Troy Senik, Fred Cole, Marty (Blondie’s husband), Barbara (Stad’s wife), Stad, La Tapada and her husband, Jim, Blondie, Frank Soto, Michael McAllister (D.C.’s husband), Eeyore, and Terry.
D.C. McAllister listening to Raconteur explain what it means to be a Zen Calvinist. Kinda cool.
Troy Senik–Mr. GQ and poster boy for Ricochet to lure in all the ladies.
Frank Soto, Fred Cole, and D.C.: “Okay, boys, this is what we’re going to do…..”
KatyAnne’s husband Justin, Stad (holding the phone), Matthew Gilley looking at his phone, Concretevol in the hat talking to Troy.
D.C. and 6foot2inhighheels enjoying the moment. Awww.
Matthew, D.C., KatyAnne, and Troy.
D.C., Frank, Fred, Stad, and Blondie’s husband getting ready to do a midnight podcast.
Lucy Pevensie, Troy, and Raconteur. It’s all about sharing the love.
Fred Cole with his giraffe named Troy. Oh yeah!
Frank: “Do not take my picture.”
The gang at Ri Ra Irish Pub with the addition of Sunbelt Red and his lovely wife (congrats on the new baby!–seriously folks, these two have the most beautiful family) at the front next to D.C.
Blondie (aka Wolfpack Lover) and her husband, Marty–who, as it turned out, went to high school with D.C., a class ahead of her.
Matthew (on his phone again–we forgive him, he’s a lawyer, after all, and he bought us wine!!) and Concretevol.
Troy–because we just can’t get enough of him.
KatyAnne and her hubby, Justin–too cute!
D.C. and her husband, Michael.
Nothing like great conversation and tales of adventure over mojitos, beer, and Mexican food.
D.C.’s husband and Eeyore (his long-lost cousin).
Troy and his giraffe, yet unnamed.
La Tapada–Getting into the dancing spirit.
Terry, Frank, and Stad.
Lucy Pevensie, Raconteur, and Troy—this photo is a work of art. It speaks for itself.
Frank, Stad, and Stad’s wife, Barbara, who are the greatest people you could ever meet. Stad has a smile that will light up the room, and nothing is better than hearing Barbara laugh.

Is that the same Frank Soto I pushed into oncoming traffic back in Vegas?
Troy Senik and Mr. DCM at the same table- whew!!
Great photos!
Wish I was there.
Thanks for these excellent photos!
We wished you were there too. But you were there in spirit, and you were mentioned often. All good. :)
D.C., you mean like,”I wish Jay were here because he’s better looking than Troy”. You’re sweet but it’s more like a tie.
Hi Eeyore, Blondie, Lucy and all the folks there!
Can you really compare the beauty of one diamond to another? :)
We’re thinking of selling Troy t-shirts.
We’ll save a seat for you at Mackinac :)
I just want to say that there is nothing better than conservative women. I made some great new friends this weekend, and I am so very grateful. I will be making road trips to visit them!
Yes, when one of Them is cubic zirconia.
Hay, Troy, can You grow a beard any thicker than that? It looks like it hasn’t grown in the past six months.
Speaking of two lady diamonds :-)
Thanks for the front-row seat! D.C. & 6’2″ – Congrats!
You can’t get any sweeter.
We need to get you to a meetup! Hugs all around. :)
So true!
ah, that looks like it was a lot of fun! Looking forward to meeting you all at the Yakima meetup. :)
Looks like y’all had a great time. Meanwhile, I’m still out here on the South Plains manning my deep-space listening post.
6’2″,
You don’t get enough credit. Thanks for the pics of a great RicoMeet.
Eeyore–not tragic at all but an absolute delight. You are a wonderful man, and your sweet spirit is inspiring. I enjoyed visiting with you and look forward to seeing you at the next reunion. I’m very proud to be a part of the bold, passionate, and brilliant Scottish heritage that helped to make our country great! :) and in particular I’m proud to call you family. Maybe now we can both give each other’s inner Eeyores some much-needed love and encouragement.
We need to transport the good doctor to the next meetup! A big hug for you is way overdue!
Ricochet is so much more than just a website. Great pictures from what was obviously a great meet up.
Great photographs and what a great evening. Frank Soto without his gun though! Conservative women are the best.
DC, you and 6’2″ have set the standard for meetups in the future! It was great (and a little intimidating) meeting you both, two beautiful conservative women that are waaaay smarter than I am. :-) Troy is great too though not as pretty so not as intimidating. lol
I don’t think I’m buying your “hippie” side but if you say so……
Prawn, hope to meet you too at one of these shindigs!
That looks like SO much fun! DC and 6’2″, Kudos to what was clearly a fantastic weekend!
Makes me proud to be part of Ricochet, and sad I couldn’t attend.
Wow! Just Wow! What a major great group! I’m jealous.
Ryan, you just committed yourself to organizing a Yakima meetup. Wine touring? How about Thanksgiving in Wine Country? It’s major fun, and it will give you a chance to learn about the fastest-growing industry in your area.
Thanks D.C and 6’2″! It was great to meet everyone and even though my wife (seriously the beautiful family is all due to her) has never once been to Ricochet she had a great time. Wish we could have made it out for more of the activities, but with small kiddos at home, its just managing chaos at the moment. Hopefully we can do it again soon!
