Is Liz a Pathological Liar?
The definition of a pathological liar is: “someone who lies compulsively.”
Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has already been caught lying compulsively, in the form of her genetic and genealogical heritage. It’s not something one easily lies about in the age of Ancestry dot com and 23andMe DNA testing, and yet, she did, and was caught red-handed in the lie. President Trump’s favorite nickname for the wanna-be Native American – Fauxahontas – is one of his all-time best insults.
Now the Washington Free Beacon has caught Warren in yet another lie, and this one is a doozy,
BREAKING: County records contradict Democrat presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren's claim that she was dismissed after he first year of teaching because she was pregnant, showing school board unanimously approved a second-year contract https://t.co/aPmDZ690iT

In both instances, Warren was trying to earn herself victimhood credentials, and in both cases, was caught blatantly lying. What is galling about this lie is how easily disprovable her claims were; as if there are other people involved who wouldn’t want to set the record straight. The people in question have documentation to prove their claims, unlike Warren. It’s a profoundly stupid lie to spin, and yet, Warren couldn’t help herself.
For reporters over the next year, if they actually care about objectivity, they have their work cut out for them. Every single statement Warren makes on the campaign trail should be fact-checked.
And for liberals considering who they want to represent their worldview in a general, Warren’s conduct should throw up red flags.
Millions of women are fired every day from work for being pregnant yet Elizabeth Warren decided to use this opportunity to lie about why she was fired. She's either lying on purpose or she lie so much she can't remember the lie, both is a negative & disqualifying. She's a liar.

Warren is the boy who cried wolf and any claims she is later caught lying about casts doubt on anyone actually in that position. Warren’s lies about her Native American history could have made it more difficult for subsequent Native American students declaring their ethnicity on college applications and financial aid, and her lies about being fired while pregnant could cause doubt for women actually fired because of their pregnancies. Warren’s lies have far-reaching implications and have the potential to harm Democrats (and Americans) off the campaign trail and after the election is over. Her pathology has become more than a punch-line.

Beat me to it!
I think the prof was restating her claim to show how she was lying.
Of course, the whole thing is moot. Millions of men are fired from work every day after getting pregnant too. No discrimination there . . .
Millions every day? That’s at least 365 million per year, there aren’t that many women, some of whom don’t get pregnant every year. Don’t these folks ever think before speaking??
Liz was promised that there would be no math.
I’m sorry, but this statement is inaccurate. Trump refers to her as Pocahontas because he is to stupid to be witty. Please correct your article to properly reflect the president’s subpar intellect.
And QWERTY keyboards were designed by men. So once again a man is holding her down.
My question is where does the million per day statistic come from? If even 1 million women are fired each day, for whatever reason, that means 365 million in one year, more than the current estimated US population!
Sorry, didn’t mean to duplicate what others did already.
Maybe she meant all over the world. But, probably not here, because I have to believe this is prohibited except in cases where another job is offered to lessen the danger to the mother and child — like military transfers to a desk job. But, Black Professor believes America Bad, so she neglects to mention it simply doesn’t happen here.
Yes. It’s a clear instance of keyboard crime.
Just like the airplanes that “took aim” at the WTC on 9/11. And all those SUVs that, over the years, have steered themselves into crowds, absent a foot on the accelerator or a hand on the wheel. And the guns that regularly up and shoot people, sans any sort of human intervention or control . . .
Ban keyboards! Ban them, I say!!
My understanding is Warren and Harvard’s etc. EEOC violations are actually considered very serious stuff. Nobody does anything. I’d like to know more about that.
All kinds of lies in her bar record. Why doesn’t she get in trouble for that?
Why isn’t there a serious discussion of what the consequences would before most people in this situation?
If you mean it won’t keep her from getting the nomination, you’re probably right. But it’s our job to make it matter.
I actually prefer either Dances with Quotas or Sits with Tenure.
Possibly. If that’s the case, though, she needs to check her American Privilege™, and understand that other cultures do things differently. If the rest of the world wants to fire millions of women a day, just because they’re pregnant, who is she to criticize them?
And somebody has a subpar grasp of the difference between ‘to’ and ‘too’
Or perhaps he is not impressed by the pretentiousness of the chattering classes who found Fauxcahontas to be witty.
I remember JPod, on one of the Commentary podcasts, complaining about Trump getting this wrong and accusing him of ruining the joke. My impression is that the “faux” part of the joke wasn’t nearly as funny as JPod thought.
It’s not exactly high comedy. It’s a clever little joke. I can see how someone who hasn’t seen it written out wouldn’t get it.
As I pointed out above, this is an example of Trump being smarter than his critics.
A smart politician avoids confusing his audience just to give readers of the Claremont Review of Books a tiny chuckle.
The public is vaguely aware Pocahontas was a Native American woman in a Disney cartoon. But what is this “Focahontas” (which is what it sounds like)? Is Trump making a dirty joke? Something about focus groups?
“Faux” is not a common usage, and doesn’t work at all except in print.
Bingo. What is a gal burdened with White-privilege™ to do? The minimum bar for Victim-points™ is 3 for today’s DNS primary.
Howie Carr is destroying Warren right now. He’s an expert on her B.S. The podcast is free. First hour.
Yes
(but when you have to explain the joke…:) )
Shades of the days of Ryan in the PIT:
the problem that trump has been branded a liar. Not sure how he can fight against warren lies with his rep.
She’s closing the gap, though.
Warren’s lies are about her entire image, how she got successful, etc.
Trump’s are “biggest crowd ever”
Not that the public will be told. Nobody would know if it was not for Trump and his magic twitter thumbs.
I understand but the propaganda machine will be sure the rest don’t.
I don’t think people think of Trump as a lair. They think of him as a braggart. He’s “that guy”. Every office, bar and family has a person who is a serial exaggerator. Warren is a run of the mill pol. Telling stories that are too good to check. Told so many times, they start to believe their own bull. Then, someone checks the story. Hijinks ensue.
Google and Microsoft are working on it. They think I should talk to my computers.
Nope, not going to go there.
Liar. Just ask Gary: Trump also lied about
You know, lies. Big, Gary Robbins lies.
Heap big lies. Stuff. Big stuff. Important.
Should be fun stuff. Big lies all around. Democrat lies. So we will see who is the better Democrat, Warren or Trump.
