Is Liz a Pathological Liar?

The definition of a pathological liar is: “someone who lies compulsively.”

Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has already been caught lying compulsively, in the form of her genetic and genealogical heritage. It’s not something one easily lies about in the age of Ancestry dot com and 23andMe DNA testing, and yet, she did, and was caught red-handed in the lie. President Trump’s favorite nickname for the wanna-be Native American – Fauxahontas – is one of his all-time best insults.

Now the Washington Free Beacon has caught Warren in yet another lie, and this one is a doozy,

In both instances, Warren was trying to earn herself victimhood credentials, and in both cases, was caught blatantly lying. What is galling about this lie is how easily disprovable her claims were; as if there are other people involved who wouldn’t want to set the record straight. The people in question have documentation to prove their claims, unlike Warren. It’s a profoundly stupid lie to spin, and yet, Warren couldn’t help herself.

For reporters over the next year, if they actually care about objectivity, they have their work cut out for them. Every single statement Warren makes on the campaign trail should be fact-checked.

And for liberals considering who they want to represent their worldview in a general, Warren’s conduct should throw up red flags.

Warren is the boy who cried wolf and any claims she is later caught lying about casts doubt on anyone actually in that position. Warren’s lies about her Native American history could have made it more difficult for subsequent Native American students declaring their ethnicity on college applications and financial aid, and her lies about being fired while pregnant could cause doubt for women actually fired because of their pregnancies. Warren’s lies have far-reaching implications and have the potential to harm Democrats (and Americans) off the campaign trail and after the election is over. Her pathology has become more than a punch-line.

A womyn and. Democrat that lies for victim points?  Tell me it ain’t so.  Sadly few will fact proof her stories, fewer will publicize her stories and even less will care.

once she adds a vice candidate of a Buttigieg or Clint this thing will be over.  Too much virtue for truth to override.

She is a politician, of course she is a liar.  It’s part of the job description.

Her pathology seems to be an obsession to present herself to the world as a victim in order to gain credibility for herself as a victim. Warren first sought that status as part of a group of those victimized in the past, which was the basis of her Native American claim, because she saw that as a way to fast-track her career advancement. Same deal with her latest lie — she wants to claim discrimination by the evil patriarchy for her pregnancy, since claiming victimization as a Native American is problematic for Liz at the moment.

I started by playing “who’s the sociopath” with the field of Democrats. After all, it’s about 1-in-20 in the general population but they concentrate in certain high strata. (Like the Democratic field.) Julian Castro, Kamala Harris, Pete Butterjudge, and Fauxcahontas I think are likely. But that’s more my confirmation bias than any measurement.

There’s something else wrong with Boinie Szanders that the Hare checklist doesn’t capture, but the narcissism is strong nonetheless in The One Who Has Never Held A Job. Same with Beta. And Corey Booker’s back story will make you cringe.

So it’s probably easier to play “which of this crew isn’t a sociopath?”

The best part of this story is how a reporter was able to access and publicize school board records from 1971.

Thanks for inventing the internet, Al Gore.

Um, is anyone else curious about the “millions of women fired every day from work for being pregnant?” Aren’t there labor laws prohibiting such things? I might believe many women quit once they’re pregnant, but fired? I need to see the stats on that.

Good question.  Google says there were about 75 million women in the labor force in 2018. Let’s presume that the amorphous “millions” actually represents something between “a few” and “several.”  So, let’s say, maybe 5 million.  Fired every day!  Let’s assume every single one of them is pregnant.  As we can quickly see, the entire female work force would be fired over the course of three weeks, assuming a 5-day business week!  Each woman could potentially be fired thirteen times during the course of each pregnancy!  (More, if you factor out the women not of childbearing age, or if, as is likely, they’re not all pregnant at once; fewer if you factor in the men in the workforce who imagine they’ll be able to get pregnant too.)

Its an outrage!  Someone should do something!

    Probably not Elizabeth Warren.

Oh, a clever bit of sophistry there, She.

Those five million women who are fired ever day…

… are rehired later in the week, at lower pay than their male co-workers.

And that is the real crime.

A friend at church is having a baby this month. She worked at a day care until just recently, as she had to quit a month before her due date since legally there has to be a certain number of kids per worker.

And “fired” is a loaded word. There are any number of reasons based on the nature of certain jobs why women could be “let go” for pregnancy. But it seems they usually go on maternity leave.

Which merely proves Trump is smarter than they are.

“Faux” is a) not a red-blooded American word; and b) sounds like “foe”, so it doesn’t work at all except in print.

I think it was a typo.  Instead of “millions of women fired every day,” what she meant was “a couple of women fired every year.”  It’s a common error.  It’s because of the QWERTY keyboards, they make these kinds of mistakes all to easy to commit.
