Remember this blast from the past:

In 1997, COSCO (The China Ocean Shipping Company) wanted to lease the space from the City, including building a $400 million cargo terminal. It was opposed by Rush Limbaugh and the Audubon Society, to name a few, and was being reviewed for national security by The Pentagon.[1]

Didn’t seem to hurt the then-President at the time, nor his foundation right now.

I have been wondering what good old Fr. Pfleger has been up to lately.  Here’s one example.

Bush and the Saudi’s? Clinton’s and the Saudi’s?

Lots of stuff to go around. Far more evidence that policy has been and is being written based on foreign direction than there is that Putin is calling Trump’s shots.

Of course, to believe that, you have to believe the man who everyone says cannot be controlled by any advisor is going to be controlled by Putin.

Then again, when Trump says something good, it is a lie, and when he says something bad, he is telling the truth, right?

The Russian involvement with the DNC email hacking seems fairly well established.

But – surely they weren’t so naive to believe that their involvement would remain hidden.

So if Ivan is publicly involved in releasing information apparently damaging to Hilda, it gives the impression that Ivan is trying to “aid” Dominic … only if the uninvolved observer assumes that Ivan didn’t expect his involvement to become public.

The Russians are stirring the pot.  But what they’re actually trying to accomplish with this is almost certainly something other than trying to damage Clinton with “her” voters.  Whether the main goal is to give the appearance that they would prefer Mr. Trump as our next President is a question.

I must still be sleeping this early morning. I am dreaming that I am reading the main feed of Ricochet and have stumbled across a post that is not swarmed by dead ender NeverTrumpsters who haven’t yet realized they have lost their very admirable principles at this point and have become pawns, if not outright supporters of Hillary Clinton. Wait let me pinch myself.

@bryangstephens: “Then again, when Trump says something good, it is a lie, and when he says something bad, he is telling the truth, right?” or As I have been saying, “Every bump is a thump when it comes to Trump.”

I started listening to John Batchelor after Trump’s acceptance speech. His first guest started out with “that was the worst acceptance speech in the history of all acceptance speeches. I just turned it off…haven’t been able to listen to one of his podcasts since. Here at Ricochet wasn’t much better. “Why is he yelling at us?” seemed to be the refrain. Well I thought he did a great job and maybe that’s why his detractors wouldn’t give it any credit.

As far as the Russian “connection”, I ask what @guruforhire asks. Is this hack by the Russians proven or asserted. And if proven, leave it to political operatives to take an embarrassing, immoral, and deceitful Democrat game plan to rig the primary for Hillary and make that a knock on Trump. This is just so twisted.

Yeah, well the crew deep-sixed my Trump Gifted Syndrome post despite me not calling anybody anything worth a fistfight.  These clods simply cannot take a joke.  And you know what?  They don’t have to.  That’s how power works.  Fight for your life or get used to losing.

This party is circling the bowl, and slapping away any help.  Fine — didn’t want that on my hands anyway.

No doubt the Whence #NeverTrump post is next.

    This could be a series:

“If you ever ________: You are why Trump.”

Or we could just saturate this thread.

If you ever disdainfully asked somebody why they drive an American car: You are why Trump.

I have generally owned American nameplates: two Chevys from Canada and MA; two Fords from MI; one Buick from Canada; but one Toyota from Japan; and one Lexus from Japan. I am repeatedly asked why I drive an American car. Mostly, its by Dems. But the most frequent Republican “questioner” in the group is now a NeverTrumper.

If the Ruskies and if intended to elect Trump, then we should expect an October surprise of her clintonemail.com emails.

If the Ruskies and no October surprise, then there are two main possibilities:

    1. The Ruskies committed spy negligence by not hacking clintonemail.com; or
    2. The Ruskies want Clinton elected and the DNC emails were a warning to Clinton and Obama giving a flavor of what damage the clintonemail.com emails could do.

The Left is now turning their ire on WikiLeaks. How DARE they behave so uppity as to impinge the reputation of Her Majesty, HRC The First?

Fundamentally, WikiLeaks was supposed to be better. Assange openly said he hoped the DNC leak damaged the Clinton campaign. “There was the hope that in the wake of WikiLeaks’ emergence, a thousand WikiLeaks would bloom, in the same way that the Arab Spring was a really romantic ideal of the effect that digital communication can have on geopolitics,” says Fenster. “But the ideal of WikiLeaks as an information conduit that is stateless and can serve as a neutral technology isn’t working. States fight back.” WikiLeaks’ moral high ground depends on its ability to act as an honest conduit.

As long as that conduit was damaging George Bush and the Republicans, they’re moral. Once that changed, they’re a danger to be wiped out.

Which “clods” would those be? You just accused a member of a personal attack on another of your posts because he objected to what he saw as smirking and self-satisfaction. Yet, I don’t believe he got personal or called you a name. Why is your name-calling here acceptable?

Well, it’s the typical habit of impugning the source rather than address the content. Does the DNC want us to believe that the Russians wrote those e-mails, too?

This is typical dodge and deflect. Story looks bad for Hillary and the DNC? Make the story about something else! The media does its usual job of assisting.
