MLK’s “I Have a Dream” Speech
.

Thanks for the Post, Jon. There was real injustice at the time, and the speech was badly needed.
There’s a great podcast called “American History Tellers” hosted by a guy named Lindsey Graham (no, not that one). He had a six-part series on the civil rights movement that was truly eye-opening.
One of the great speeches in American history! I read it as part of a reading aloud from literature class I had in college (I know, I know but every class can’t be Medieval Methodologies!). Even reading it aloud to 17 students gave me chills. There is power in the spoken word.
I’ll look it up. Thanks Jon.
Do you know about Michael Medved? I love his talk show. I am a Medhead (subscriber to his show). If you go on his website, he has three part series on King. I am not sure if you have to be a subscriber to listen. Since I am, I did it easily. It is interesting, if you can access it.
