    I live here @justmeinaz and have seen the Wall several times – and it’s emotional every-time.  In the late 90’s I saw the traveling wall (re-creation on silk screen of the whole thing that literally traveled around the country).  It was intensely emotional.  Many who could not make it to DC to see the actual Wall had come to pay their respects.  There was beer, liquor, hats, notes, flowers, knives, uniforms, pictures, you name it at the base of the display – it was incredible.

    Some gave all…Would love to be at Shanksville today. That bell tower (carillon) is beautiful! (Today is my next-youngest sister’s birthday, as well…Will pray and raise a quiet glass:  “Let’s Roll!”)
