Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.

Legislating is hard in America. So hard that it's no great mystery why partisans have been all too keen to sneak around constitutional constraints for expediency's sake. If Congress want to get things done the right way, you gotta build a real majority. If only there were someone in Washington who really knew how to do that... Peter, James and Charles Cooke chat with Newt Gingrich, whose newly published March to the Majority: The Real Story of the Republican Revolution aims to remind us that it can be done again. If you’re wanting answers your questions about the country’s prospects for revival, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better source.
Plus the hosts are (mostly) looking forward to Father’s Day; they express skepticism about constitutionally protected graffiti speech—grammatically correct or otherwise—and then reminisce on way back when the lab leak was allegedly fringe talk. 'Member that? Good times.

I do, including when that was also apparently the official position of Ricochet. That didn't age well.

Can’t say I recall that being the official position of Ricochet. I don’t remember any strong position on Covid’s origins. The closest thing to a Ricochet position on most things Covid has been “Let’s talk to Jay.” And this was in the good ole days when Jay was easy to get a hold of.
