Senate Democrats Block Urgent Israel Aid

I have become a more and more frequent listener to Ted Cruz’s podcast "Verdict" and have just learned from that excellent source not only about a very important vote taken in the Senate Wednesday but also a good bit about the procedural hoops the Senate Republicans had to jump through to make it happen.

This post will briefly discuss that vote -- on a House bill that afforded Israel much-needed emergency military funding, paid for by eliminating the lunatic Democrat plan to hire an additional 87,000 IRS agents to harass and intimidate the American people -- but also the fact that not a single major media outlet reported on the vote as it was not part of the approved pro-Democrat narrative.

The upshot is that, on the very day of the 300,000 strong showing in DC at the Stand with Israel rally, every single Democrat voted against the badly needed assistance apparently on orders from Schumer, that self-proclaimed champion of Israel in the Senate and, of course, Biden in one of his few sentient moments that day.

In other words, every single Democrat up for re-election voted against helping Israel in their time of need, proving how, to these Marxists who call themselves the political party formerly known as the Democrat Party, party always comes first, way ahead of their Nation and, especially at this time in history, way ahead of the survival of one of our two closest allies on the face of the Earth.

As if that was not despicable enough, as Cruz noted on his podcast, not one single major, “woke” corporate media outlet reported the vote, enabling all these Senators to cast that vote against Israel with full confidence that the news of that vote will never get to the mass of their voters and thus will not hurt their re-election prospects with their Jewish constituents. Which prompts the following question.

Just how stupid do they think the American electorate really is? We all know the depressing answer to that question and it is not a pretty sight. However, have they forgotten the pesky fact that many, if not most, citizens have access to enormous, solid, reliable sources of news other than NBCABCCBSNYTWAPOMSNBCCNN?

Thus, I am doing my tiny, nay infinitesimal, part to get the news out to just a few citizens so that perhaps, if enough citizens do this, some of those voters will be wise to this con game and send all those “Honourable” members of “The World’s Most Exclusive Club” back to trying to make an honest living for a change.

Incidentally, to prove that I did what I thought was my due diligence, I searched to see how many major media outlets had published news of this vote — two days ago. You will not be surprised that the result of my search was exactly: zero.

I will finish with the same question. I am starting to complete all my discussions these days -- can our Republic survive another full year of this open, blatant Marxist “administration?”

The jury is definitely still out on that one.
