This election has been very interesting. While I’m not convinced we have seen any sort of permanent shift in the electorate, we certainly saw some realignments that may be enduring. Only time will tell. But what is astonishing to me is the massive denial by the left. I noticed the week immediately following the election, lefties were defiant and unwilling to accept any notion that they had a bad candidate or a losing platform. My local (San Antonio) Sunday paper was full of columnists (local and syndicated) denying the obvious. Then a week later there was a more measured tone. Maybe, they said, the left had done itself in.
But now they are back in full denial mode. I just read about Bill Clinton claiming Americans didn’t have time to get to know Kamala Harris. There was some equally obtuse stuff from James Carville. And those are two guys who definitely should know better. Wouldn’t you think the Hunter pardon would be hard to ignore as a metric of integrity?
Honestly, if it means the left has learned nothing I think we are better off for it, but I’ll be damned if I can figure it out.

There was just enough time to get to know her. That was one factor.

Indeed. The more people heard from and of Harris, the less they liked her. If the campaign had been a little longer, the landslide EC and popular votes would IMO have been even higher in favor of President Trump.

I thought her term as Vice President pretty much spoke for itself. She was in front of a lot of microphones over that time.
I've never experienced a stream of unconsciousness before.
