The comparison between the Manson Family and the modern Democratic Party is a study in the mechanics of power, manipulation, and the deliberate orchestration of chaos to achieve a desired political end. While the scales of their operations differ, the fundamental strategy remains hauntingly similar: the use of manufactured instability as a vehicle for total control.
Charles Manson, at his core, was a nihilistic architect of chaos. Central to his ideology and methods of control was his apocalyptic vision known as "Helter Skelter." Manson derived this prophecy from his obsessive and idiosyncratic interpretations of the Beatles' 1968 White Album. He claimed that songs such as "Helter Skelter," "Blackbird," "Piggies," and "Revolution 9" contained coded messages foretelling an imminent race war between black and white Americans. In Manson's scenario, the social upheavals of the 1960s would culminate in black Americans violently rising up to slaughter the white population in an act of retribution. This uprising would provoke a frenzied white backlash, causing whites to turn on one another as racists purge moderates and liberals, thereby accelerating the collapse of white society. Black militants would then finish off the remaining white survivors, leading to near-total white extermination and black victory.
According to Manson's teachings, the Family would survive this holocaust by retreating to a secret underground city or "bottomless pit" in Death Valley, California. This idea blended his reading of the biblical Book of Revelation (with its imagery of a bottomless pit and apocalyptic plagues) with local desert lore and his own delusions of grandeur. Hidden safely below ground, Manson and his followers would wait out the violence and destruction above. Once the war ended and society lay in ruins, Manson believed the victorious black population, whom he regarded through the deeply racist lens as incapable of self-governance or maintaining civilization, would be unable to rule themselves and would desperately seek white leadership to restore order. At that point, the Family would emerge from their subterranean refuge as the new elite, with Manson positioning himself as the messianic savior destined to govern the post-apocalyptic world.
This Helter Skelter narrative functioned as a sophisticated instrument of psychological manipulation and social control. By convincing his followers that apocalypse was inevitable and that only absolute loyalty to him offered survival and ultimate power, Manson created a state of permanent dependence and paranoia. The murders committed by Family members—including the brutal 1969 slayings of Sharon Tate and her companions, as well as the LaBianca killings—were not random acts of violence, but calculated steps to ignite Helter Skelter. Manson intended these crimes to be blamed on black militant organizations such as the Black Panthers, thereby sparking the white retaliation and racial escalation he desired. The shared participation in murder also bound his followers to him through guilt, fear, and the belief that they had crossed a point of no return, making dissent or escape psychologically impossible. He viewed the demographic groups he manipulated as pawns incapable of self-governance and therefore destined to look to him as the only entity capable of providing meaning and order in the aftermath of the violence he instigated.
The Democratic Party's contemporary approach to immigration and the dissolution of American identity mirrors this logic. By championing open borders and effectively incentivizing the mass influx of people from radically different civilizations, the party leadership is engaging in a project of controlled demolition. The objective is to replace the traditional American electorate—an electorate that values the Constitution, historical continuity, and individual agency—with a new, more compliant demographic base.
Much like Manson, who relied on the intellectual and moral frailty of his followers to maintain his grip on them, the modern Democratic establishment thrives on fostering dependency. They understand that a population unmoored from the values, language, and traditions of Western Christian civilization will struggle to organize itself into an effective political check on their power. As the social fabric frays under the weight of demographic transformation, the state expands. The new arrivals, lacking the organic ties to this nation's heritage, are steered into a permanent reliance on the state for their sustenance, legal status, and protection.
The parallels extend to the culture of the elite class itself. Both Manson and the modern political left share a deep, pathological resentment toward the foundational structures of their environment. Manson targeted the symbols of Hollywood and affluent American life because he viewed them as the embodiment of an order that rejected him. Similarly, the Democratic Party relentlessly attacks the symbols of our heritage—our statues, our history, and our traditional institutions—because those things stand as reminders of a people who were once capable of governing themselves without the oversight of a technocratic bureaucracy.
Furthermore, there is a shared reliance on the creation of a "victim-savior" dynamic. Manson told his followers that they were outcasts, persecuted by the establishment, and that only he could lead them to salvation. The Democratic Party consistently frames the populations they import as victims of a "systemic" oppression perpetuated by the historic American majority. By defining these groups through the lens of their supposed marginalization, the Democrats position themselves as the necessary mediators, the only ones capable of "protecting" them from the phantom menace of their political opponents.
In both instances, the true goal of the manipulators is not the flourishing of the people but the consolidation of power for themselves. Manson didn't love his followers; he used them as an engine of destruction. The Democratic Party, in its current incarnation, does not prioritize the nation's stability or long-term prosperity. Instead, it treats the American project as a resource to harvest. By inviting the chaos of rapid, unassimilable change, they ensure that the "governed" are too fractured and too dependent to mount a coherent resistance to their agenda.
History teaches us that when leaders seek to manufacture social upheaval to solidify their own authority, the result is never liberation. It is the steady erosion of the very things that make a nation capable of sustaining itself. Whether in the hills of California or the halls of Washington, the promise of a "new world" born from chaos is the oldest lie of the power-hungry. The danger lies in the fact that the architects of such chaos rarely realize, until it is too late, that they are not just destroying their enemies but the very civilization that sustains them.

IMO, Manson was a psychopath, who'd decided the world had to be destroyed after the powers that be had rejected his music, and were scornful of his delusions that he should be the next Bob Dylan.
All the rest, the "revolution," the race war, the cynical manipulation of vulnerable people, male and female, and all the rest I think were just manifestations of his LSD-enhanced psychopathy.
Psychopaths are not legally insane; they know exactly what they are doing, and revel in it.

Great, if unnerving, post, Post!
Speaking of posts, I dug up one that is tangentially about the song "Helter Skelter." (The post is from 2018 ... I've been around here a while.)

Eric Hoffer, The True Believer, 1951:
"The most incurably frustrated—and, therefore, the most vehement—among the permanent misfits are those with an unfulfilled craving for creative work. Both those who try to write, paint, compose, etcetera, and fail decisively, and those who after tasting the elation of creativeness feel a drying up of the creative flow within and know that never again will they produce aught worthwhile, are alike in the grip of a desperate passion. Neither fame nor power nor riches nor even monumental achievements in other fields can still their hunger. Even the wholehearted dedication to a holy cause does not always cure them. Their unappeased hunger persists, and they are likely to become the most violent extremists in the service of their holy cause."

I agree and Manson is a good example for the exercise. Am I the only one who thinks the likely outcome is a civil war between producers and takers? I can’t think of a single historical precedent where totalitarians, having brought barbarians in, are removed by peaceful vote? How long til then? Will the producers reject being “governed?” Meanwhile I don’t think this iteration cares much about what is destroyed along the way - Islamists yearn for end times and the secular Marxists just think they will be on top. I figure they assume they will just take the good stuff from the people who don’t deserve it. They all want to be the last ones who get anything.

I submit another excellent example of the psychosis is the treatment Caitlin Clark gets from the WNBA: an athlete with skill and work ethic and spectator interest the “league” has never had is abused physically and professionally. She is beaten up on the court, not protected by the refs nor teammates and ignored by the league for promotion and recognition. Yet she shows up and when allowed to play excels. WNBA and its let thugs will not stop until she is broken and gone.

About 2/3rds of Dems now believe the greatest country in the world is actually the worst country in the world and must be destroyed. The Sheeple are easily manipulated.
