PragerU lawsuit against YouTube

Several years ago, YouTube started placing PragerU videos on a "filter" list, meaning they're treated like pornography; deemed unsuitable for children and other sensitive audiences, and are thus banned from viewing on YouTube. They've done this to over 100 PragerU videos so far, including videos about Martin Luther King and The Ten Commandments. This is not demonetizing. This is censorship, from a supposedly public forum. PragerU's lead attorney has posted a typical PragerU five-minute video, explaining the lawsuit PragerU has filed against YouTube. He calls it the most important lawsuit in the world. And he may be right. Required watching — worth five minutes of your time:

Remember than Google has dominate market position in K-12 with Google Docs and with Chromebooks. We should have known there would be trouble, when Google changed their corporate motto from "Don't be evil" to "Exploit the masses".

To repeat my sentiment from another recent post, I hope that Elon buys YT, at a fire-sale price due to the monopoly ruling, and then fires at least 80% of the people like he did at Twitter.

WTF? Has PragerU gone clickbait by editing old videos and misleadingly re-releasing them?

This seems to be something reposted from several years back. IIRC PragerU got whacked both in federal and CA courts:

The mentioned law firm ceased to exist years ago and Mr. George is now at:

Will we see a fraud class action against PragerU for misleading fundraising?

I believe that YouTube has removed or demonetized a few of Jordan Peterson's interviews, although I do not remember which ones, and that this was one of the reasons he eventually set up a parallel podcast source on Spotify.

I mentioned this case in a post I wrote in 2020....Do the Lord Chancellor and the Archbishop Approve?...shortly after the 9th Circuit found against Prager...somewhat surprised that there has apparently been no appeal to the Supreme Court on Prager's part. I thought the Public Square precedent involving the 1945 case in which the Supreme Court ruled that Gulf Shipbuilding Company could not prohibit a Jehovah’s Witness from distributing literature in the the town of Chickasaw, Alabama, even though that town was Gulf Shipbuilding’s private property, was an interesting one.

In comments to the post I discuss Section 230 and how it came to be.
