I didn't get much feedback on choosing a date to host a Ricochet meetup in Cookeville, TN, so I decided to do it on June 14th, which is National Bourbon Day.
We had the meetup last night at Crawdaddy’s West Side Grill, which was a fantastic choice if I say so myself. Lois Lane was unable to make it, but Concretevol and his new bride Shelley came, as well as Fractad. We talked about sports cars, Ricochet meetups past & future, Rob Long, Joe Biden, baseball, and bourbon. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that Fractad not only drives a sports car – a new, black Mazda Miata – but that it has a proper manual transmission!
Fractad asked me how many Ricochet meetups I have been to and I thought about 25. Now that I took the time to look more thoroughly, there have been 29 official meetups, a couple of Ricochet-related weddings, and a smattering of lunches and dinners when someone (me or the other member) was just passing through. That seems crazy.

There's gotta be more than that, unless Yer criteria is stricter than what I think.

Thanks for organizing this meetup - it was really nice meeting you, the Missus, @concretevol, and Shelley. You're right, Crawdaddy's was great, and I encourage more Ricochetti to join us next time. I'm looking forward to it!
