Being wildly pro-Israel, I'm encouraged as I continue to read and listen to coverage of the brilliantly executed offensive against Iran. But I'm also encouraged by something I haven't encountered in the many articles and podcasts I've perused:
I've yet to see a single reference to the United Nations.
Oh, I'm sure that bloated and corrupt organization is trying to make itself relevant. Still, I can't recall the last time any significant event involving Israel didn't summon the career meddlers of Turtle Bay.
This is good.

Thank you, Andrew. Life has been... eventful... these past several months.

I am thinking about how Ukraine smuggled truck loads of drones deep into Russia and then launched a coordinated attack and how Israel did the same thing in Iran and I am wondering about China buying farms near military bases and millions of unvetted illegal aliens and maybe we are not all that safe in the USA.

When you say a "reference to" the United Nations, did you mean a "condemnation from" the U. N.? I don't know why journalists or pundits would be referring to it when talking about this war, unless they were virulently anti-Semitic and were calling for U.N. action. But I don't know anybody who thinks the U.N. could seriously do anything about it.
I noticed that certain Arab countries like Saudi Arabia and Egypt are officially condemning Israel's attack, but I know they are secretly celebrating in private. In cases like this they have to keep up appearances for their populace.

It is not surprising that the non-Shaia Muslims are causing much of a stir - none of these have any love for Iran. I am surprised that the CCP hasn't said anything given their ties with Iran. I bet Russia is keeping quiet because they are afraid, Irael will provide Ukraine hints on how to attack Russia/.
