Conspiracy theorists aren't geniuses, they're just skeptical thinkers who can fill in the facts that are obviously missing from this headline. "Naive Peace Activist Horrifically Murdered by Terrorists" Would have been succinct, direct, and honest, but sadly doesn't open the viewer to advertising messages...
CTV should be ashamed of these deceitful headlines. I know better than to call for heads to roll -- nobody will be fired for this. The organization has no shame, because the staffers who operate it, have no shame.

Very similar to NBC news reporting "Man dies after hitting head during Israel and Palestinian rallies in California, officials say." after Paul Kessler was struck by a protester, knocked to the ground and died.

Zackly. Even if they were trying to be careful until facts rolled in, had that been an antifa drone killed at a Trump rally, the headline would have been "Student dead in MAGA violence at Trump rally -- witnesses describe horror."
