Thanks Doug. Memories from 50 years coming back again. Burke ships are much more massive than the destroyers guarding my carrier. But the were very good especially with AA fire. Just remember everyone working 80 hours a week when we are at sea. Except me. So the ship's lawyer only had to work 70 hours a week. Maybe the pilots worked less. But those were the guys getting shot at. So they deserved the Heineken beers in their mini frigs that were verboten to rest of us in the Navy.
