Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
This is stunning and conclusive: Bombshell Footage Exposes Pelosi Security Guard's Lies.
A senior Capitol cop brazenly lied to corroborate the lies of another cop. The defendants got outrageous sentences from politicized judges. Will justice finally prevail?
The Democrats are planning to run on J6 and abortion because they are underwater on every other issue. Will that plan unravel? It will be diagnostic how hard the courts fights to kill the appeals on the way. Is there any integrity left in that courthouse? If prosecutors knew about this (and lots of other footage) existed will professional discipline follow? Will Congress ask questions about who knew what?
The Capitol Police also need a major housecleaning. This is not the only instance of dishonesty (I recall a fake disability claim for a fake shoulder injury from a tug on a shield that never happened in a prosecution that should never have been brought). Where promotions are solely a function of political connections and diversity, there should be enough latent resentment for the truth to come out given half a chance.
At a minimum, everyone who helped falsely engineered the bogus "insurrection" narrative with its unduly harsh standard of punishment should be held to the same standard.

My bet? It will be papered over as long as there is a Democrat in the White House. Even if a Republican is elected this year, the best that will happen is the defendants convicted with this perjured testimony will be pardoned. Their sentences will not be overturned, nor will there be legal consequences for those providing false testimony.
I'd like to be wrong. I don't think I will be, though.
No.
And if you really want to be enraged, watch the released body cam video of the cops firing on the peaceful protesters.

It's not our job to make bets on the outcome. It's our job to do our part.
It was not the job of Pete Rose to bet on games, even if he was betting on his own success. It was his job to do his part to win games.
So, where do we at Ricochet go from here? What can we do to encourage the presidential candidates to declare their intentions?

Not that it is unprecedented but rarely so brazen and in service to such an unworthy prosecution.
